Files For This Guide ============================================= ~~~~~~ FAQ ~~~~~~ 0003 Q.1) Any tips for beginner Kstylers? A.1) I would suggest getting used to GunZ, a week old player who can't dash can't do Kstyle I'm afraid. Time and effort IS ftw. Q.2) What is the best game setting to practice Kstyle? A.2) Well that depends, if you want to learn HOW to do a move, I suggest training in a wide space (Such as town or Battle Areana). After that, I'd suggest putting it to use in combat, such as a DM (8 players or less) or a Duel. Q.3) What is the fastest way to learn Kstyle? A.3) Using it every game is the fastest way, but it will still take 2 ~ 6 weeks to be competent at Kstyle. Q.4) Why should I do Kstyle instead of another style? A.4) There is no reason. KStyle is mainstream due to it's easy nature, but that's about it. If you want a challenge, I suggest D(agger)-Style Q.5) How can I do a <move here> with a Kodachi? A.5) The same way you do with a Katana, it will only look different. Q.6) Where can I learn Kstyle? A.6) I have made a nice Kstyle guide with replays at gunzfactor.com in the bounty stockpile section, please go and check it out if you want to pursue Kstyle. Q.7) Why is KStyle Korean Style? A.7) The reason its called Korean style is because an old player named Korean/Kraise brought the basic movements from KGunz to IGunz Q.8) Are Females better than Males? A.8) No. I prefer males myself. But in all actuality, the ONLY difference between the two (Don't believe everything you read guys...) is the animation and where the shot comes out during a Slash » Switch glitch. On males, it comes out near the right foot. On Females it comes out on the left side of the head. You can observe this by using a rocket. Q.9) What's the best move in Kstyle? A.9) I've been here for 5 years now, and I believe the best moves are the base moves. FBS and PPQ are fancy, and you can brag that you trained to tears you mastered them, but in all actuality, these moves are practically worthless in combat. The victor in combat is NOT he who spams, but he who AIMS. (Sorry ladies, but I meet a girl on gunz once in a blue moon. Ya'll are too smart to destroy your fingers apparently XD!) ~~~~~~ PRE-Kstyle ~~~~~~ 0004 Well, before you get into Kstyle, lets make sure you set up your game right. 1) Change all settings so you don't have FPS (Frames Per Second) lag. I personally use Low on terrain, and High on character. 2) You CANT use a dagger and be considered using Kstyle, sorry. 3) Find the moves, practice them, and have fun. ![]() Tips and Pointers of Kstyle 0005 Now that that’s out of the way, lets get to the simple points of Kstyle 1. Running up stairs with a block is a NO NO. It doesn't take much to do a RS at your legs and kill you. I suggest using the walls (wall running, wall climbing, etc) 2. Don’t force yourself to do moves. All this will accomplish is getting you all tensed up, and then its harder to do a move, and even if you can do it, you will probably be paying more attention to your hands, and not the guy with the shotgun that’s sitting right behind you. ![]() 3. Minimax yourself. Minimax is an old RPG term that means find your strengths, and improve upon your weaknesses. 4. Don’t do Kstyle because it’s a formidable style. Go learn a BFLY step, and see how you like it. Learning Kstyle is a VERY long process. All other styles are JUST AS FORMIDABLE!If you don't believe me, go find a Dstyle pro (my friend LogicalApple for instance). The oddball fighters are VERY formidable. If a good Dstyler comes in a game, and a good Kstyler comes in a game, they both stand a good chance of winning. Its all about how you play. 5. Kstyling every game is the best way to practice it. It WILL be hard at first, but stick with it, and you’ll be an accomplished Kstyle artist in no time. ![]() 6. Find a good Key combo that fits your hands and style of Kstyle. 7. I firmly believe Kstyle skill can’t be taught, it can only be learned through experience. The moves however, can be taught. ![]() 8. Kstyle is more about outwitting your opponent, not going faster. You may be able to do every move there is of Kstyle, but if you don't know when to use the moves, you're gonna suck. That's where Kstyle experience comes in. 10. Don't spam one move over and over. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but a left to right HS is EASY to BLAST. 9. Learn Lightstep. This helps you get a basis for dash movements. 10. Aiming is ESSENTIAL. If you cant Hit the guy when you do a HS you're boned. Go find a nice wall in town and use revs on windows from a distance. Alternate windows as you do this. It will help your aiming out. 11. You may be called a noob, and get complaints, but using a block and turtle is wise. It's easy to get around a block, one way or another. People who can't just whine ;3 Key Combo’s 0006 Here is another vital point of any successful gamer. You have to find a nice key combo that helps you play more efficiently. In other words, you don’t want to be using a Key combo where the keys are spread all about the keyboard, that isn’t smart what so ever. The efficient way is to reduce movement of the fingers and make keys that are some of the default, and some new keys. I wouldn’t really suggest doing too many new keys at one time, as it will really confuse you, because your hands will be wanting to follow the same pattern they are used to, not the new combo you just set up. ![]() Last edited by Scuba; 01-28-2009 at 02:15 PM. |

| Gunzfactorian Veteran Hero | Armor Priority 0007 Here's the breakdown of the HP/AP to Weight Ratios. Jacket < Pants Gloves < Boots HP/AP Ring = +Wieght Rings Hit Boxes. 0008 Please view the following link to get info about hit boxes, and what weapons can and cant use certain parts of them. GunZ Factor.com - Gunz Hitbox Guide Weapons 0009 Lets get to the basics of weapons >:P =Melee= Daggers – Cant have a dagger and Kstyle, sorry…Katanas – The more preferred weapon of a Kstyle user due to the fact it is lighter and hits harder than the Kodachi. Kodachis – These dual swords are interesting. They are heavier than the average Katana, have a shorter reach, and also don’t hit as hard. The added benefits of these are that they strike a good deal faster, and also have the bonus of being able to move while uppercutting an opponent, unlike the Katana. These weapons are hands down THE MOST powerful gladiator weapon when used correctly. Ranged Shotguns – This weapon weighs an average of 18 to 20 pounds, and has 2(Avengers), 3(LVL 5 shotgun), 5, 7/8 (Prem + Quest) shells each clip depending on the level and type of shotgun. The other benefit of these close range weapons is that they have a spread effect when fired. The bad side of these is that they have high delays and very bad accuracy at a range (Though both of these can be overcome).Pistols – These weapons don't pack quite as much wallop as Revolvers do, but they carry more ammo each clip, shoot 2~3 times faster, and are quite bit more accurate than revolvers. Revolvers – Basically a Pistol with a touch less accuracy, higher delay (not an issue w/ swapshot), and smaller clips. The real difference about this weapon is that it inflicts about 2 times the amount of damage per shot than the Pistol does. Rocket Launchers – When used well, the rocket launcher can be a very formidable weapon indeed. These weapons have a high delay, and carry an average of 3 to 5 shells each clip. They also carry the benefit of a spread effect when they hit a surface, so opponents hiding behind walls should beware. The real downer of these weapons are the fact that…well…they are rockets, they don’t fire like regular weapons, and when they hit a person, the damage depends on the area of impact, the closer the rocket is to the player, the more it hurts. Sub Machine Guns (SMG) – These are the automatic weapons that can be used like revolvers/pistols (1 in each hand). The down side of these weapons is that they are inaccurate at a range, but the good side is they really excel at close range. Rifles – These are a pretty common weapon choice as they have a good deal of damage each shell, and are highly accurate. Add in aim, and these can kill a player with full life in seconds. Machine Guns (MG) – These are the heavy automatic guns. They hit between 16 and 18 a shell depending on level, and all weigh 28 pounds. They also have a unique ability, this being their clip size. They carry 2 120 clips each, so you have a while until you need to reload. The real drag with these weapons is that they are HORRIBLY inaccurate, and have a little higher delay than Rifles and the SMG series. Though, the sheer inaccuracy of this weapon makes it very ideal for higher ping if you understand what to do. Items – This means the grenades, armor kits, and health kits. I myself would rather equip weapons, armor, or rings before equipping items. ~*~ Gladiator games ~*~ 0010Well, there is an art to playing a gladiator game Ladies and Gentlemen, So allow me to point out a few tips for you. The common Gladiators are :: Beginners : This means that they barely have any skill, and probably don't know what they are doing. Average These people really are ignorant to gladiator, and probably butterfly and flip a lot. Intermediate These people just found out turtle is for stunning, and are probably starting to learn how to use ground combat. Gladiator These people know what they're doing. They use ground combat mainly, and use specialized gladiator styles such as Stalk. Clans that are decent gladiator clans are (As i know) Just Demotivation (They'll teach you) and Cerb's Cult (Dead i think). ~*~ Kstyle Move Abbreviations ~*~ 0011 People unfortunately have a tendency to name moves something else, thinking that they discovered it and such, so there are a few AKA (Also Known As) names out there too. Here are the more common Knowledge move abbreviations. * = Wild Card. Can be anything… BF/Bfly = Butterfly DBfly/Dbl BFLY = Double ButterFly FBS = Forbidden Step FS = Flash Step, sometimes Full Step HS = Half Step HHS = Half Half Step LS = Light Step MS = Million Step QS = Quick S*, Quarter Step. SS = Slash Shot SS (2) = Slash Shot (2) WC = Wall Cancel WP = Wall Post WS = Wall Slash/Wind Step ES = Eighth Step RES = Reload Eighth Step RS = Reload Shot RSHHS = Reload Shot Half Half Step JSD = Jump Shoot Dash Wind = Wind Step PPQ = Pyon Pyon Quickstep (Pyon is a jumping sound in Japanese.. lol..) D*S = Double * Step/Shot. Double Half Step, Double Flash Step, Double Slash Shot, ETC.. The difference between a Move and a Technique 0012Well, to put this simply, A move is something that is like a Slash shot, But a Technique is a combination of 2 or more moves used in a way that is effective, like Dragon Flight Technique (That would be a reason I added the Technique) That is basicaly all you need to know about this subject KSTYLE Move Guide 0013This is where KStyle gets fun. Remember, there are regular moves, but you need to remember, keep the opponent guessing, dont do only one move, and dont do the moves only how i told you here, mix and match them around, and make your own techniques. For example, the Dragon Flight Technique is basicaly a HHS off a wall and then a dash with it, other people will use a multi wall run infused with HHS, Wall posts, and much more. These are only 2 examples of the infinite combos of KSTYLE. So be creative. ![]() ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Massive Techniques 0014 Notes : The massive comes in many forms, but you pretty much need to know only the more common areas. The one thing to note is massive damage, it can be high, or it can be 10 damage to HP. This ALL is dependent on the range of the massive. The closer you are when it hits, the more it stings. Elements cut the initial damage, but some have damage effects that last several seconds, and this could lead to your death. Extra Notes : I feel that I should share this with you. Massive and Massive avoids come in two variations. The first is the Vertical scales. Vertical scales have to do with Sky massive, Horizontal massive, and Ground massive. The other is the Horizontal scales. Horizontal scales have to do with Reverse massive, Backwards massive, and Side massive. Each massive is to be used in conjunction with each other to break your opponents guard. ![]() Breaking Techniques Standing Massive - This is the fastest massive available to you, so make use of it. When you receive a massive, don't jump or dash, just toss it when in range. Jumping Massive - This is a massive used when you decide to jump (and normally dash) then release your massive. A favorite of oldschool gladiators was to dash to the opponents back, and alternating between the horizontals and verticals. Forward Massive - Look at your opponent and unleash your massive. Backward Massive - This massive is where you Turn your back on your enemy, Throw your massive, and spin right at them, this is a good guard breaking massive. Reverse Massive - This massive is where you start looking at your opponent, then spin 180º to break through their block. Sky Massive - Massive at the sky. Can be blocked using the Ground Block. Ground Massive - Massive to the ground. Can be blocked using Sky Block. Blocking Techniques Sky Block - This is a block used to avoid a ground massive. Look up and hold your block. Ground Block - This is a block used to avoid a sky massive. Look down and hold your block. Glitch Evade - This is a horizontal scale based move used to avoid a 180 massive. Quite simply, turn your back on your opponent to avoid it. Angles are 180 and 135(?). Ghost Evade - This is a horizontal scale based move used to avoid Forward, Backwards, and Side massives. Turn to the opposite side according to which way your opponent is massiving. Angles are 0, 45, and 90. Last edited by Scuba; 01-13-2009 at 09:42 AM. |

You get some improved accuracy, as you stay still mostly. Easier to do than the SS/HS Con's : This move is hard to do intentionally at first. It goes faster than the YoYo, but it's easier to do a SS for beginners. | Gunzfactorian Veteran Hero | ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Dan Step 0021 Notes : This move is a special Move like Stylish Step. You add this move onto others. This is also known as a STATIC BFLY/DBFLY Pro's : MAKE MOVE COMBOS! Con's : ...i can't think of any... Slower than most moves?? Con's : Easy to mistime unless used often, leaves you open to attack if used wrong. Step Combo : Slash » Block Movies : Ground Slash.gzr ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Shadow Slash0024 Notes : This move is handy as you get the best of both areas of the sword, the defensive and offensive. To pull this move off, you slash 2 times, and block right after the 1st slash ends, so you get 2 slashes instead of 1 and only go through 1 slash movement. This move is ALSO known as Shadow Slashing, because its ALL ABOUT the Slash > Block glitch. Pro's : 2+ slashes for the price of 1 Less! Con's : You cant move when slashing, so you're an open target if you don't know what you're doing. Step Combo : Slash » Slash » Block (RIGHT as the 2nd slash starts) Movies : Shadow Slash.gzr ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Void Step0025 Notes : This Step is best used when you have the Kodachi's. To me, they work with the same buttons, but their uses are completely different. The differences in them are easy to understand, but most are just ignorant (Meaning you just didn't know, doesn't mean you're stupid). Blocking Definition : To me, a block is more for blocking bullets to protect yourself. Let people call you a noob, just laugh it off. It's their fault they don't know how to shoot your feet. Avoiding Bullets:
Turtling Definition : A turtle is meant to be an offensive block. They are meant to PARRY (Throw them back after they slash your block) an opponent, causing an opening. You can't turtle half way across the map. Turtling correctly is one of the hardest things to do, since you need to understand your sword, ping, distance, and angles. Turtling Tips:
A block AND a turtle are easy to avoid ladies and gent's. All you need to do is shoot their feet or slash them correctly! ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Tap Block0027 Notes : Again, an old move renamed... It's kinda sad to think the bulk of the gunz community thinks it's "Tortoise gate" or whatever that monk guy decided to name it with his fake style... In any case, This move has a low chance of stunning your opponent (Parry), and it drops to zero if you achieve the animation lock version. This moves other name is the Void Block, but I find the best name description of it is the Tap Block. Pro's : Avoids slash spam when used correctly. Con's : It's easy to get around for an experienced fighter, and it doesn't stun people if spammed wrong. Step Combo : Block » Block » Block » Block » ....

| Gunzfactorian Veteran Hero | Block Rush 0028 Notes : A ground based move that allows fast movement [AKA "Running"] from a stationary start. Pro's : Allows speedy movement, surprised opponents, makes it harder to shoot feet, good turtling move, allows escapes from various situations. Con's : Hard to master, Leaves you open to attack briefly. Step Combo : Dash (Hold) » Uppercut » Block (Hold) Step Combo Notes :
Movies : Block Rush.gzr ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Block Launch0029 Notes : This move allows for excelled air movements. You can use it for a variety of things, such as Bfly, HS, SS, anything really. Pro's : Allows higher movement speed when going into an air based move. Increases maneuverability and distance of moves. Con's : It ends up being slower overall compared to just SS, HS, ETC. Step Combo : Dash (hold) » Uppercut » (Jump¹) » Block » (Jump²) Step Combo Notes :
Movies : Block Launch.gzr ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Butterfly Step0030 Notes : This is one of the most commonly known moves of Kstyle, and also one of the most effective steps. Remember that Bfly is made up of 4 parts, Jump, Dash, Slash, and Block. Most people only use the Dash and Slash. A tip for you newbies, The Jump is THE MOST vulnerable place. Pro's : High speed movement and slashing. Used effectively, you can maul people. When used right, it turns into both Offensive and Defensive at the same time. Con's : Over used move, It's easy to just turtle people if they don't know what they are doing, it's also EASY to shoot someone's legs while bflying too. Improving your Butterfly : Most people who start Butterfly have troubles. So i get asked often, "How do i improve my Butterfly????" The best way to improve your BFLY, or any Kstyle speed, is to Lightstep. The reason most people have trouble is due to their dash area. The combo I suggest to PERFECT is this one : Lightstep combo : Jump » Dash » Slash » Jump » Dash Step Combo : Jump » Dash » Slash » Block Learning Bfly from step 1 0031Well, if you are learning this step, it is probably one of the first moves you want to learn and master flawlessly. Dont worry about speed when learning this, as a quality butterfly step is the result of a lot of practice, a trained hand, and about 3 to 5 keyboards >:P( j/k ). Remember, go slow and steady when doing your first bfly steps, so you get the rhythm down. Using this Step by Step learning, you will slowly develop the butterfly skill with ease. 1.A) Step 1 is nothing but having your sword out and learning how to time your dashes. Use nothing more than a repeated 2 step combo. Do this as fast as you can without missing a dash, breaking your keyboard, and/or Finger. ![]() When first learning this move, don't expect to be uber fast, it takes TIME. 1.B) Step Combo : Jump » Dash 2.A) When you get a nice comfortable feeling and speed with step 1, we add in the next part to a BFLY step, the slash. 2.B) Step Combo : Jump » Dash » Slash 3.A) Now that we have a nice and steady rhythm to the BFLY, we add in the final key, the Block. If you do everything in the order I have said, you will be doing a nice and steady bfly. If you do the BFLY every game to get around a majority of the time, you will also be building up the speed of it, so practice often. ![]() 3.B) Step Combo : Jump » Dash » Slash » Block Step Variations -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0032 Silent BFLY - A silent Bfly, The Step combo is like BFLY, but the slash is sooner, it's actually in the middle of the dash, so you press like.. W, slash, W Step Combo ~ Jump » Directional Key » Slash » Directional Key » Block 0033 Side BFLY - A Bfly used to circle the enemy at a distance and slowly approach when they are vulnerable. This variation can also be used to find your enemies weak points, and exploit them to their fullest. 0034 Forward BFLY - This is a rather risky version of bfly if you do it wrong. You basically BFLY right at the enemy as fast as possible, in an attempt to make them vulnerable. This move will screw either you or them, so plan carefully when using it. 0035 Backwards BFLY - This is basically doing a Bfly away from an enemy, Useful when your only trying to observe their movements or find an opening in their attack. 0036 ZigZag BFLY - This is a tight and quick paced BFLY step that combines Side and Forward BFLY, and is similar to COD BFLY, but the aiming is a little different. You do 1 Forward Dash followed by 1 Side Dash. Chainsaw BFLY - This move KICKS ASS when coming to 200+ ping. BASICALLY, you do a Forward » Backwards or a Side » Opposite side (Left > right > repeat or right > left > repeat). This gives you the feelin that you are quite literally being a chainsaw, and the opponents feel it. 0037 COD(Circle Of Death) BFLY - Lethal when used right. You get right up by the enemy and start bflying in a tight circle around them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Movies : F = Female, M = Male F-Bfly-Katana, F-Bfly-Kodachi, M-Bfly-Katana, M-Bfly-Kodachi Due to limited amounts of movie space, I have only uploaded M-Bfly-Katana and F-Bfly-Katana to gunzfactor, but all of them are in the zip file. ONLY FEMALE CHARS CAN DO A FEMALE BFLY, AND ONLY MALE CHARS CAN DO A MALE BFLY!!! ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Double Butterfly0038 Notes : Once upon a Time, this move was thought to not exist, just like TBFLY. But the past is the past. This move is a good move for offense, but it's very easy to break into with a simple Bfly or a Turtle. Pro's : 2 slashes a bfly. Can get up to 2 different directions per jump. Can travel long distances quickly if used right. Con's : You can get really predictable, really fast. You can get hit during this rather easily. Step Combo : Jump » Slash » Block » Dash (holding makes it go further) » Slash » Block Step Combo Notes : Try to start with a normal butterfly, then jump, SLASH and Block, then do another butterfly, and you have yourself a Double Butterfly the only hard thing about this move is the timing, so practice, practice, and practice some more if you want to be any good at it. You hold down the button for the direction you want to go at the start.Youtube :: YouTube - GunZ Online :: Double Butterfly Movies : Double Bfly.gzr ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Triple Butterfly0039 Notes : A newer move made mainstream by "Monk". Most people tend to spam this move, thinking it's invincible, when it's actually one of the frailest moves in all of Kstyle. Pro's : Three Slashes in one jump and smashes weak blocks. Con's : Easy to parry, without a dash it's just triple dan step, and low maneuverability Step Combo : Jump » Slash » Block » Slash » Block » (Dash) » Slash » Block Step Notes : The dash is optional, however it turns into Triple Dan step (Static TBF). Movies :
Movie Notes : It doesn't matter what you use for block. I personally use F, since it's easy to access and i have a stupid pinky. Refer to my Key Stance image for more info Last edited by Scuba; 05-04-2009 at 02:08 PM. |

| Gunzfactorian Veteran Hero | Instant Kills 0040 Notes : The Instant kill. An honorable mention should be made to Cerb, since this is his little monster. Thank GOD someone named it instant kill though, he wanted to name it the 'reacharound' [I find it hilarious, but I don't think your parents would if they hear you going "ALRIGHT, I JUST DID A PERFECT REACH AROUND!"] There's two ways to do this move, and you need to know which one to setup to use it right. There is a way to counter a Juggle, read below Pro's : Juggle someone like a clown while they float almost helplessly in the air. Con's : You screw up even a little and the target hits the floor. Step Combos : Gun Juggle = Uppercut » Switch to gun » Aim » FIRE! 0041 The secret to juggling with a gun is to aim at the BOTTOM MOST AREA of the target (Ping and Leading will make this different each time.) Instant Kill Gun Juggle Chain = Uppercut » Switch to gun » Shoot » Switch to Sword » Repeat 0042 This is really one of the cheesiest thing's I've EVER seen. You want to prematurely end your targets flip by shooting them before they hit the summit of the flip, and then repeat your move. Juggle Safe Fall = Uppercut » Wait a moment » Bfly underneath 0043 Juggle Non Safe Fall = Uppercut » Bfly To the side of the target » Bfly one way » Bfly opposite way of the prior bfly » Repeat 0044 Movies : Juggle Safe Fall.gzr, Juggle Non SafeFall, Insta Kill Shoot.gzr Movie Notes :The juggles are done by Cerb3rus. Safe fall has 13 hit juggle and Non Safe fall has 20 hits(he really lives up to his name as god of the juggle). I didn't do very good on the Shooting insta kill.... Make sure you know where to lead. ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ How To Get out of a Juggle 0045There are 4 possible ways to get out of a juggle, only two of which isn't called noob, that being option 3 and 4. 1) Ninja Step (It's now considered a hack. Rofl at the ijji staff) 2) Screenshot 3) As you are airborn, and about to be juggled, slash the opponent just before he hits you, causing him to flinch/get a massive, and thus canceling his juggle. Just make sure to watch out for the massive 4) Turn away from the person who is juggling you. This will get you hit more than 3, but it will mess up a persons juggle if they don't know what to do. ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Instant Fall0046 Notes : The most overpowered move of gunz ladies and gentlemen. Back in the day it was 1 or 2 slashes and it was finished, but nooo, theres bout 20 or 30 variations now, and they all gut you like a fish! Needless to say, I only use it for fun, but many people feel they're pro as sin cuz they can kill you with this cheap flip move rofl. Pro's : Hit the helpless target floating in the air! Con's : If the target safe falls, the insta fall can no longer be done. Can be hard to get down at the start. Step Combo : Instant Fall : Uppercut » Block » Jump » Slash » Block Instant Fall JUGGLE 1 : Uppercut » Block » Jump » Slash » Block » Slash » Block » Repeat Instant Fall JUGGLE 2 : Uppercut » Block » Jump » Slash » Block » Dash » Slash » Block » Repeat Bfly or Dbfly step Instant Fall To Shot : Uppercut » Block » Jump » Slash » Switch to gun » Shoot 0047 Movies : Insta Fall.gzr, Insta Fall ~ Shot.gzr, there is also Insta Fall ~ Dan ~ Shot.gzr in the .zip ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ 0048INSTA FALL GUIDE 0049 This movie is very well done in my opinion. It covers basically every insta fall known to gunz in Katana AND Kodachi. It even shows Male and Female versions of the instant falls. I give props to the man who made all this :3 ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Light Step0050 Notes : This is a decent evasive step, but it can be used in a way to screw up the enemy. Play with it in gladiator games with BFLY, and test it. Pro's : Learn how to dash! Con's : Shouldn't use this move outside of training unless you have a death wish/know exactly what you're doing. Step Combo : Standard Version : Jump » Dash » Slash » Dash Advanced Version : Jump » Dash » Slash » Jump » Dash Step Notes : use an Advanced LightStep to help you make your BFLY Faster. Learn to do this at a good pace. All in all, this move is risky to use in battle, its more for helping you learn to dash. Movies :LightStep.gzr Last edited by Scuba; 01-13-2009 at 09:34 PM. |

| Gunzfactorian Veteran Hero | Flash Step 0051 Notes : There are a couple versions to this step, but they basically all start off the same. This move is used to mostly go further faster, and lose less altitude. Pro's : Move VERY FAST up walls, through the air, and on the ground. Remember, this move has a slash, so it's also a little offensive. Con's : You lose ALL defense while using this move. ***Please note*** The starting jump on the Aerial and Climb FS's only needs to be done to get off the ground. ALL switches are to be done FAST. 0052,0053,0054 Step Combo Variations : Flash Step Aerial : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun » Switch to sword » Dash Flash Step Ground : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun » Switch to sword » Dash Flash Step Ground Advanced : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun » Switch to sword » Jump » Dash Flash Step Climb : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun » Switch to sword » Jump Flash Step Movie : Youtube :: Copyright garbage atm. Veoh :: PENDING (fags keep saying its copyrighted...) Movies :FlashStep.gzr ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Double Flash Step0055 Notes : Double Move Example. It strains the hand, so I prefer it's normal version the Flash Step. Pro's : Moves SLIGHTLY Faster when on the ground compared to FS, is slightly harder to hit. Con's : Strenuous on the hands, hard to use in actual combat, SLOW in the air compared to the flash step. Step Combo : (Dash) » Jump » Slash » Gun » Dash » Sword » Dash » Slash » Gun » Sword » Dash Step Combo Notes :
Movies : Double Flash Step.gzr Movie Notes : Due to the replay system, I ended up getting a few animation locks, so sorry bout that. ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Swap Shot0056 Notes : Basic move, powerful results. Walk around and shoot your opponent. Pro's : Easy to aim with, fastest continuous shot speed available. Con's : You become and easy target when you walk, Just a waste of ammo if you can't lead. Step Combo : Gun 1 » Shoot » (Reload) » Gun 2 » Shoot » (Reload) » Repeat if desired in a steady stream. Step Combo Notes :
~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Reload Shot0057 Notes :This move shortens the delay in the switching process mainly for shotguns, allowing you to shoot faster. Most people who have experience with this move (like me) will end up putting a reload on every shot just out of habit. You can't shoot faster than your gun's delay, but you can blast people fast if you can aim. Extra Notes : You can add in a Reload shot to many steps such as HS, HHS, SS, and even Flash Step. Pro's : This reduces your delay from switching weapons during the reload time. Con's : Spamming your shotguns won't get you very far unless you have some very good aim/have some poor guy stunned in front of you. Step Combo : Switch to gun 1 » Shoot » Reload » Switch to gun 2 » Shoot » Reload and repeat if wanted Step Notes : You can add on a Reload Shot to quite a few things. view Half Step and Half Half Step for more info on this subject. Included in my zip are videos showing RSS and RHS Movies :Reload Shot.gzr Movie Notes : The first and final shots where a normal switch between a Breaker 5 and 6, the rest are Reload Shots, Listen to the difference in shot delays. ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Slash Shot0058 Notes : A staple of Kstyle, and when used at it's fastest, it shoots as if you were standing still and doing a steady Reload Swap Shot. Pro's : Great for moving at a good speed with a slash and a shot (hence the name). Gives superior aiming when starting out if you can't aim with HS. Adds variation in your style. Can cover a decent amount of distance when done right. Con's : Not as fast movement wise as HS if you can't spam it. Easy to shoot you if the enemy knows where you're heading. You can only head in one direction during the move. Step Combo : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun » Shoot gun. Movies :SS.gzr ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ Half Step0059 Notes : The evolved form of SS. This move is highly evasive, but has less exit flow than the HHS to me. The Extra Variation I've seen used before, and it works well. Pro's : 2 dashes a jump. More agile than the SS. Can have easier aiming for some people. Con's : This solitary move is abused to NO END by ALL KSTYLERS. It's very easy to aim at if you only use side>side hs. Makes you predictable. Step Combo : Standard : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun » Dash » Shoot Reload HS 1 : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to gun A » Dash (hold down directional button) » Shoot » Reload » Switch to gun B » Shoot (You can add a jump when you land on RHS or you can walk/tumble) Movies :HS.gzr |
