Hey guys! Kadai here bringing you your bi-weekly installment of the Community Roundup. Things are really starting to shake up over at P7S1 and we're getting ever so close to that official release of GunZ 2. While there hasn't been much on the news front of the game, we did get a small patch (version 0.3), and the second official closed beta testing has just ended.
In patch 0.3 we had some very small fixes, a lot of them unnoticeable. Some things you might notice? Well, if you're into PvM mode, no longer will you have unkillable NPCs when the host switches mid game, which was a very aggravating glitch to say the least, it's a good thing that was taken care of. Another one of the big changes we saw in the patch is that levels required to unlock some of the skills were changed around, in my opinion, for the better. Unfortunately, as of today, the GunZ 2 P7S1 second beta phase is over. We don't officially have a word on an official launch of the game, or an Open Beta, but of course once there's word, you'll certainly be able to see it here are GunZFactor once the news has dropped. The second phase of the beta was even better than the first, bringing in more of a population, and being able to play on the new patch was much more enjoyable for the community. The only problem we had with the server was well, the server. If you experienced any lag at all with the server, disconnects, or anything of the liking, P7S1 is certainly looking into it and will hopefully have that completely patched up by the next launch of the game.
