atoms are bonded by their need for other atom's particles. They can't do this without being in close proximity to another atom.
Your "theory" of being able to push through a table is wrong, because of what i stated above. Their covalent bond can't be broken, except with introduction of certain compounds that break down and re-arrange atoms.
Nearly every species of animal has ben proven to be able to be domesticated. So, your idea that animals that can possibly be domesticated shouldn't be used for fur is both unlogical, unpractical, and unjustified.
