I am excited to introduce three new features to GunZFactor! These servers are provided by our partnership End of Reality. The staff and I have been busy setting these servers up and they are open for beta testing!
Go check them out now!
Mumble
Mumble voice servers are for chatting with your friends with your mic... or even if you don't have a mic, you can text chat. We will have public channels and you can create private channels as well!
You don't have to be in game to use our mumble server.
The best part... it's free!
Steps:
1. Download Mumble here: http://mumble.sourceforge.net/
2. Set up your mic/sound if you have one
3. Connect to our server by going to the server list and click "Add New"
IP: chi.eoreality.net
Port: 64758
4. Right click yourself and click register.
Minecraft
We are currently only testing our PvP world. You can play PvP, PvE and Spleef!
You can fly around on Pirate ships and try to capture the flag. You can fight waves of monsters as a team.
Once Minecraft 1.8 comes out, we will update everything and give yall full access, to the main world to build and quest.
We will do a live casting Sept 10th at 9pm to 10pm cst to show off some of the stuff we've worked on!
Here's a sneak peak picture:
Minecraft IP: 206.217.132.181
Because we are beta testing; this server may be down for certain periods and especially when 1.8 comes out - but after the update, we will be running nonstop. Also, we are restoring backups so during public beta testing, nothing will be saved.
Team Fortress 2
This is an amazingly awesome and free game!
This server can be made private for arranged matches.
You have total control of the map selection - just use the in-game menu or type: rtv
Steps:
1. Download the game here: http://www.teamfortress.com/freetoplay/faq.php
2. Go to "Browse Servers"
3. Go to "Favorite Servers"
4. Add our IP address:
TF2 IP: 96.8.112.100
ENJOY THESE NEW FEATURES!
Please give us feedback.
These servers are shared with my other community, Battlefield3Forums.com but these servers are only for GZF and BF3F members. A big thanks to the guys at End of Reality.
