I remember XenRail when i first started playing they had a clan called wts... with angelicx and all them I tried out and failed lmao...then my clan ended up cwing wts and beating them and they quit the clan and made seksehbunnies and went to server 3 and got raped. They were all lvl 50 when i first started playing.

This happens with every game guys. A game gets old, people get bored of it and move on and new people come in to play and old gens come back now and then and play, then whine about how they miss how the game used to be and then they leave again and then come back later to repeat that.

I follow that same rule, I can't stand the game anymore...I want to play with the people when I was learning how to play the game and such. Those are the people that made it fun.

You know, GunZ has actually made me a little sad recently. I went to play the game with what little free time I seem to have, and I was really disappointed by the drastic decline in activity over the past few months. I played GunZ on a private server back in October ( Or about around there) and it had about 500 people on it*. I signed onto the same server to see the population drop to about 100 at peak hours.

Saddened, I decided to check up on that horrid ijji version and it seemed as though the same issue was forming. I'm sad Gunzfactorians. I'm disappointed to see one of my favorite games of old growing in age, and truly hurting from the time spent alive.

It makes me wonder what entails for GunZ 2; I remember hearing rumors back in '08 about the title, but I haven't heard a damn thing since. I haven't searched any info out as of yet, and the GunZ 2 forum seems to be a bunch of speculation. Working in the games industry you'd assume I'd hear some sort of release from Games Press, but I haven't, so I haven't seen anything official as far as the NA on that game.

Ranting aside, the fact of the matter is that no one remembers because this game is so goddamn old. It had a small focused community to begin with, and with that dwindling I'm starting to feel like I'm missing an old friend.

So here's to the people that do remember, and here's to the moderators and the posters that keep this forum alive.

Oh, and Citizen, you're a goddamn champion for keeping this site alive.



EDIT: Oh, GunZ 2 is a thing, but it doesn't look anything like what I know and love. Sweet.
