Every time i go to install something

like Air Rivals or Game booster i get this
Error

Access violation at address 00409942. Write of address 00401000

I had this for a very long time, let me guess, you have just downloaded a .exe and run it and get that error? Whereas installshield installers still work?

I found 2 solutions after 6 months of dealing with that -

Quick term solution -

Restart your PC and run the program within 15 minutes of boot up.

Long term -

Reformat.

Sorry, that's all i have, i read an article that you can fix it VIA BIOS but i didn't want to risk it incase i messed it up. Good luck, hope i helped.
