The best tips I could give is DO NOT FORCE SHOTS. Some people, myself included, have felt the need to force a shot just to keep the firing momentum. Forcing a shot when you have not calculated how far you need to move the mouse, calculated how your opponent is moving, etc is just as good as closing your eyes and hoping you hit. Remember games where you miss a few in a row, then end up loading a whole 10 shots to your opponent and missing? You've choked after realizing you were missing, your hand has become unsteady, and you try willing yourself into shooting more. Forcing one or two shots make upset the pattern of your style which will cost you the round, or even the game. You will lose focus on your opponents movement and you will begin concentrating too much on your own movement, which should always be subconscious. If you're running to catch a football, you're concentrating on calculating the position that the ball will be at, dodging other people, all while looking at the ball. Subconsciously, you're having to move your left leg, right leg to keep running, you have to breath, etc..

    what I suggest
If you lose your momentum and find yourself to accidentally force a shot or just basically losing your rhythm, wait for the opponent to do something that you know will hit. Bring your crosshair towards the person so you can focus on the general movement of the player so that you can get back into the groove. If you've lost your focus, do not continue the flick shots because you will forget your range and probably miss them all. Once you've find shots that are guaranteed to hit (example. when someone slash shots, and you are able to detect what direction they are going in, you will be able to shoot them at the end of that movement because there is nothing else they can do before that action is finished). While this may sound like nonsense, you're doing it subconsciously when you play. When you're warmed up and hitting shots, your brain is subconsciously reading your opponents movements and reacting effectively by shooting in the moments where it knows the shot will land. You're able to concentrate on more important things, making you a more dangerous player

just my 2 cents for what has helped me out recently

Here are some personal thoughts of mine. Like mentioned before:
1:it's important to keep your cool. A player who becomes pressured to win the match loses his edge. Often, you'll end up failing.
2: Aim takes priority over movement, not the other way around. Don't be so focused on executing Latedashes or slashshots that you end up missing. Aiming should be functional on it's own, whether you dash or not. People like to insult walkers, but it takes more skill to walk than to spam Reload Slash Shot.
3: As Symmetrical said, this "placement" theory is good. Firstly, keep waiting for your opponent to enter your crosshair. Afterwards, when you improve, start predicting your shots a little faster. Bit by bit, improve your predictions. Soon, it'll be like you're not even predicting lol.
4: Don't tank regularly (Seriously). Use something like eternal set for half of the day, then wear some tank for important games. Why? Because it gets you learn how to play reasonably and fairly. Also, when you do tank, you'll find that movement and stability is a ton easier.
5:Get a fast mouse speed, a good fps and Archtype. You need a fast mouse speed so that you can do spins. or sudden reflex shots. It's extremely frustrating for you if you can't move your crosshair enough to catch up to your opponent.
6: Always believe that there's nobody you can't hit.
7: Ego? Waste of time & concentration. Your goal is to win and aim good, not to be the best trash talker. Don't distract yourself.
    Good attitude = Good player.
    All the best peeps

I only do this when I expend more than a week without playing gunz.
After I get the hang of it, I can start spamming.

I don't spam like most gunz player spam.

I take shoot, wait 1-2 sec, shoot.

Only time I spam real bad is at close quarters. I walk, put my xhair where I know they going to land, get 2 easy shots, they run, thus making them an easier target.

I don't know its hard to explain.

PS: A good aimer knows when to spam.

Somehow I know when to shoot 3 shots before they can shoot 2 times or about to shoot 2.

It's like i get signals from my brain letting me know when to spam and when not too.

I guess that happens when you get used to it.
