Enjoy it? Of course, but it wont ever be ideal. Lowering barriers to entry, as you're talking about, means lowering the skill ceiling of the game, thereby weakening its longevity. The only reason I played GunZ 1 for years (and the reason I still have many of my online friends) was because it was so incredibly hard to master.

K-style originating from a glitch is irrelevant. Glitches do not typically break games, they only change them, and Kstyle was not an exception. The kind of Emergent Gameplay that grew out of GunZ 1 is such a rare existance that you should not have thrown the idea away like this. The harmony that existed between the actions you could perform in GunZ 1 created such amazing emergent gameplay---I mean, it's the kind of stuff that game developers dream about! It's the holy grail of game design.

And I didn't even practice K-Style, I was one of the founders of D-Style and wrote the biggest guide on D-style, and most of that wasn't overtly reliant on glitches (again, not saying glitches are bad).

You say that you want us to remember that it was us who created Kstyle, and so that's why GunZ 2 is so "stylistic". That's a cute thought, but a game "looking cool" and a game actually "being cool to play" are totally different ideas. Simplified controls will not make this game fun to play. I will master the controls in two days and then become bored with it.

GunZ 2 is too slow and too simple of a game to be anywhere near as engrossing as the first. I suppose I will have to be the one who creates GunZ 1's true successor.
