And it might be good to clean your temporay internet files i recommend using
CCleaner.com

Another way to make one's computer more efficient for gaming purposes is disabling background processes. This site, Black Viper's XP Services Configuration page describes how to do so.

Um i have a friend who knows a lot about computers and he has already told me i shouldn't have what i have so please no flaming me telling me im wrong. I have 480 mB of RAM and i know this isnt true because it comes in 216 and 512 or whatever. i go right click (my computer) and properties and check it there. is there anyway to change RAM and will this help fix my fps problem?

I second this, i would go as far as saying that CCleaner is the best freeware ever. You MUST use this its that good.

Uh, you don't need a 256mb video card. Hell, you can max out on FPS with a 128mb AGP, easily.

My M.U.G.E.N's file size is 1.7 GB.
Will deleting it make gunz run faster?
I really dont want to, so I deleted some of my characters and DGCA file copies to save about 630 MB so far
Im still defragmenting so I will reboot when it's done and see how fast GunZ runs then

It will make GunZ faster only if you are very low on space. Otherwise you won't notice a big difference; defrag is better.

I defragged, rebooted, comp is still the same speed+google websites dont work AGAIN.
