| Gunzfactorian Soldier | This thread really makes me /facepalm. First of all, the 8800 GT series is completely outdated. Secondly, you cannot use a 4850 since his power supply sucks. Thirdly, you CAN'T change a Dell power supply since Dell uses proprietary parts- you'd need to buy a new PSU from Dell, which conveniently cost 2x more than they should. Do not think about changing the power supply, and certainly don't attempt to. Forget about buying the "best" card, you won't be able to unless you buy a new computer. You will have to settle with something like a 6600, 6800 (though I think the power supply requirements are a bit too much for you) or a 7300. Maybe a Radeon x1300. Even if you did buy a better power supply and a newer card, you'd be bottlenecked by your ancient processor. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | hes monitor is 75hz one. But movemements have difference with different fps. Also no one told him to get new psu, so don't expect it :/ Saying that he gets 100 fps, could mean he gets 100 fps best, and when theres much action he could get like 20fps, i dont know. chill the *** out anyway |

Your eyes can't see beyond a certain fps. I think it was like 60-80 the most your eyes can notice other than that anything higher is too fast to notice.

Anyways if you dont plan on becoming a hard core gamer I would just get the 8800GTX, that will still run most games today at 60fps. Also don't be alarmed by the 60fps, this is standard in retail games.
