| Gunzfactorian Soldier | I like OCZ and all, but I've had two OCZ power supply units die in my systems with basically nothing connected to them. I brought out my old Enermax PSU that is like five years old and popped it in and it worked without a hitch. The only reason I switched to OCZ is because their PSUs tend to run much more quietly than Enermax PSUs. The Enermax ones sound like jet engines sometimes (even if you clean them out). |

![]() | The Core 2 Duo architecture "owns" AMD's current. Get Ati Radeon 4850 instead of 8800GT. 720W is overkill. 600-650W is enough. Your choice ofc. When you buy a PSU buy from a good brand like OCZ or Corsair. *Note* Mist has been proved to be using bad, low-quality parts and will be a lot worse after 6 months. |

| Gunzfactorian | Nah there was a price cut the 4850 is same price as the 8800 gt now, since they came out with a 4870 which is a lot better but its about 30 bucks more, still worth it imo, far cry from the price of the 9800 now. And um Amd's don't lose in every performance run wtf are you talking about? Intel use to lose in all the performance runs, the new architecture for intel is the only real difference, imo amd's are still faster the only thing they have different is the Intel cpu's and mobos are built to withstand heat without fans making it last longer and not get as hot. If you know how to take care of your computer then AMD's are better due to being what $250 cheaper. If you cant take care of your **** then sure go get an intel lmfao. |
