![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You do know by messing around a bit with your system config, you can disable 90% of the Vista features. So you basicly have XP + some extra features of Vista. For ppl whining about Vista; first see if you can fix the problem, before cursing it. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Check the vista is 100% up-to-date and that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. If you get the screen of death again it should give you an error code, write it down and check it on the microsoft knowledge base. If it doesn't help you, try posting all the relevant information you know on a more specialist website and see if anyone there can help you. @Juice People are perfectly within there rights to complain about vista, its a product that does not perform as expected or to the level of quality that we expect and it has many issues with it. If people have to disable most of its features to effectivly run an older and cheaper version of the software that works there is no point in having vista in the first place. Don't forget most people are not advanced PC users, they are casual users. They don't want to start a computer and run a program and configure it to do that and to do this. What they want is to write a e-mail/letter, play a game or read a newspaper. The computer is just a medium and it should make it possible to do these things as simply as possible without giving everyone a headache with so many bugs that need fixing. |
