It is based on chance, kind of like playing Poker or Holdem or whatever card game you want. You can create strategies around said Chance, but there is always that chance you will lose.

And again, I'm talking about TRUE turtling, not hybriding styles like everyone does now in days. No one walks around blocking constantly anymore, its just not practical.

Turtling isn't always based on chance. I find myself turtling many times just to throw them off. These days people have a tendency to run away when I throw up my block key which allows me to create distance and continue to walk the other direction. I'll give it to you, turtling is based on chance, but what isn't?

the true version of stalking is based on exploits, butterfly is based partially on chance, but mostly on distance from the opponent.
