But to point out one thing that's a huge misconception that you made... quickslashing with kodachis has nearly the same delay as the quickest dagger stabbing. But what your forgetting is that quickslashing is a stationary move, where daggers are free to dash whenever during their stabs, which is the big difference. | |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | Mmm, I didn't realize it was completely type specific for melee weapons when it comes to delay. About kodachi quick slash vs dagger stabbing: Ya I do know that for kodachis you are stationary while dagger you can still move. I was just wondering if I only looked at how fast they both attacked. Thanks for the clarification guys! (Wow I better re-work on my weapons guide in the melee sections I'm such a noob when it comes to talking about styles and melee glitches XD) (+Rep to Slap. For Hymn I must spread more rep around first...) |

| Gunzfactorian Postcount Demi-God | Facing a wall, I've stood beside someone and I stabbed while he quickslashed, just so we could see the timing. If I remember correctly the kodachi did swing slightly faster... but since you can't move it really only helps you in a couple situations. |

| Gunzfactorian | Also, take note to the "speeds" you refer to. Void Step is a glitch, for example. Of course it will be faster than the intended speed of a dagger. A dagger, also, stabs at a constant rate. As for Katanas, the fourth slash has more of a delay to "fire" than the first 3 consecutive slashes (assuming you are standing), and the same applys to Kodachi's. |
