But you can perhaps slow yourself down, or cool yourself. Go to sleep one minute and wake up 1000 years later feeling like only a few hours of past (even the cells in your body would register only a few hours). I can see this being possible, though current technology is a long ways away to my knowledge. | |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | It goes like this: You are traveling in a car at light speed. You turn your lights on (which are also going in front of you at light speed) The car lights will be going out VERY slowly/not at all. Because:you are going at the same speed. think of it like this: 2 trains are going right next to each other at the exact same speed.( you are in one) You can see through the window of the train next to you and it seems like you are not moving at all. You are traveling at the same speed... Is that adequate? |

| Gunzfactorian | I've had that dream Deja Vu before where you sleep and have a dream and then a few days later it happens kinda weird really but i've also had that coincidence one where you talk about something that might happen and it does. |

Others theorize that the phenomenon is caused by astral projection, or out-of-body experiences (OBEs), where it is possible that individuals have visited places while in their astral bodies during sleep. The sensation may also be interpreted as connected to the fulfillment of a condition as seen or felt in a premonition. x-x |

![]() | Deja vu used to happen to me fairly often. There's a couple of stupid examples I remember, but each time, the image I see is one that I have definitely seen before, although not in real life. It's never so easy as something I've dreamed about; it's more like, I remember him saying the exact same thing while my hand was exactly here at the edge of my vision with the cards on the table just so. I haven't experienced deja vu in awhile though. Perhaps it's just a trick of the mind; personally, I feel inclined to believe that it's something more, but the realistic part of my mind says to the other side, "**** you." It's the same argument in my head; I believe in true love, but I don't believe in the existence of love. I believe in communism (real communism, not what's going on today) and also in anarchy at the same time. |
