How many people are motivated by "go kill yourself, you are wasting everyones time?" or more importantly, do you really believe that was Chokichi's real intent behind the post in the first place? I wouldn't bet on it. There are some people that really can't take pity well, but you can usually detect that in the way they post. You have to be a sort of easily offended person to be inspired by a post like that, and you also have to be non-passive, I don't feel that was/is the case here.

Genuine depression though is often never solved by inspiration like that, because when you are depressed the world hates you and you know it, saying so only strengthens that.

Billionz, i think you've read it in the wrong matter, let me put it in perspective for you.

Eg,

Kid crys because he's not allowed his chocolates in the living room (lounge) and refuses to come in unless he is allowed his chocolates in there too.

Now you have 2 options, you can either argue with him for ages and it just gets no where.

Or you can tell everyone to go in the living room and shut the door, You will soon see that he puts down his chocolates and comes to sit down with everyone.

This guy is attention seekin due to whatever problem he has, i know people who have been through a lot more than most and they are still standing. If you was going to commit suicide because you hated your life, then you wouldn't be on a gaming forum arguing with someone who tells you straight, if you say your going to do something, then do it.

I understand your attitude, but to be honest I don't really like to read people like that right away, generally that's the kind of attitude that puts people down more. When you come seeking advice and someone tells you something like that, it can only strengthen their resolve to be depressed (sure they may not actually kill themselves) but eventually, if enough people have that same attitude he might really do it.

It's this whole emotional situation, I know the stereotype of "emo" but some people honestly do have problems emotionally, and though this one may or may not be attention seeking, it's a communities job to treat him maturely until he has proven himself a sham. That's part of being an adult, always show respect to other people problems, no matter how silly they seem, it may really get to them.

No I was not kidding. Billionz I took your advice, I am seeing a psychiatrist. Its working well, I just need to get through a few more weeks of household pains and I won't be depressed. We found whats been bothering me so much. Ty so much Billionz.

The reason why I would post here? I have been playing GunZ for a long time and even though the community sometimes sucks ass, there is always those people who do care. I feel most comfortable here and have grown an attachment to this forum and a couple friends I made here and in game.

Also, I think in the case of severe mental depression you can make an exception as it is clearly something similar to paranoia except you aren't paranoid and scared all the time, you just feel life's worthless, even for no good reason at all. I certainly don't think that's any reason to up and quit on a person, then tell them to commit suicide.

Today's society is an independent one, we live according to what WE want with no concern for the fellow man, I'm no exception, all I'm saying is that this is the general attitude towards things. Here is the problem though, if none of us really care for anyone outside of our immediate relationships then there really isn't any point in trying to solve world problems, why? Because we just don't care enough.

My depression is not caused by a rumor.I'm being blacklisted by the teachers in my school.They are very unreasonable and scold me for no reason.The worst happened was,they suspended me because of an incident which was NOT related to me.(Got accused by teacher's pet.Darn him!)I feel like jumping down Mount Everest.

Maybe you should spend more time trying to focus on your real life if it is bothering you so much or is it the cliche "the game is my escape" ? What ever the case your obviously playing a game too much and the rumour going round could be something about a side effect of it.. you could smell... you could have lost irl communication skills... whatever the case just get out more and live a real life, if the friends you have are avoiding you, take it as a sign and find new friends.
