![]() | Obama, because being black would urge him to do something about ghetto's and ''the projects''. I'm saying this because I whent to Brooklyn when I was in New York. It changed my entire vision of America. |

| Wiki Foreman / SysOp | I realize that this thread is old but two things: 1. The ESRB is not run by the government. Yes, the video game industry regulates itself. Wonderful how that works. And, IMO, that's a better way for it to run (as opposed to government regulation, e.g. the FCC) because the government knows less about video games than the industry itself, and clearly nothing along the lines of utter chaos in terms of video game obscenities being rampant actually happens. Technically, you're allowed to make pornographic and extremely bloody games. But the industry itself will wag its finger at you. 2. Why wasn't there a choice for antipathetic people? I.e. "nobody?" |

| Gunzfactorian | I'm afraid of Ron Paul because of how fanatical his supporters are. Libertarians are scary -- I read about a libertarian pact to pick a low-population state and all move there to take over so they can get into office. They are such extremists when it comes to the role of government and I honestly believe if libertarians ran the country it would be a disaster. I agree with a few libertarian positions though. I don't like McCain because of how he sold his soul during this election just to court the Republican base. I used to like him because I thought his posturing as a maverick was actually him having strong convictions. Also, there are tons of issues I really don't like his stance on. I don't like Obama because I think he's going to try to push through national health insurance and I think it would be a mistake. Social security is on shaky ground and somehow he thinks another huge entitlement program is a good idea. Iraq isn't a voting issue for me, but at least he won't be starting any more wars (I hope). Everybody else is out of the running, so I'll probably hold my nose and vote for Obama. |

| Newbie | In my opinion, Barack Obama is an excellent choice for President. He is well-educated and well-spoken. He has great ideas and conveys the charm and diplomacy to unify the nation. Barack is not only a African decent, but also he is most qualified candidates of the election. Also he has strong ideas for changing the nation from incompetent mismanagement of Bush. |
