| Gunzfactorian Commando | That's ironic. You kinda present some ignorance in yourself for people who PvP in GunZ. Quest is fun too, but lets not go overboard saying it can reflect your overall skill. I'm sure to you its fun at aiming at an AI that barely moves around you know you can beat it, but get better at playing real games. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | So while humans can dash, walk fast. And monsters only walk half as fast as humans, means you are pro and can take out people who k-style? Yeah right. 4 Monsters are easy to dodge. So I'd like him to tell me how he can dodge 4 people RSing shotguns at him, and kill them. |

![]() | I don't hate people who are good at PvP. And yes, GunZ can reflect your overall skill. I taught myself to do many things while questing. After awhile, you get good at quest. You'll also notice, it's completly different than PvP. Having 44-50 NPC's assigned to you, coming at you 100%, is a lot different that a 1v1 duel. But, at the same time is very similar. Make 1 single mistake, there goes the game. Except, with the loss of a quest, you have to start over. Dueling, you can loose a streak, but you can make a streak countless times. Quest hold 3-5 stages per quest, each stage increasing in difficulty, and each level adding more powerful NPC's that come in more numbers(increasing in +6). Think of it like a DM, except if you die, game over. And, like in my quote, it's a great training ground. @Blood: Learn to evade 10 mages shooting 3 powerful shots all at you at the same time, or 10 gunners shooting 1 powerful shot at you all at the same time, or a smaller mage, shooting massively 3 spread shots and 1 powerful poison shot. Yes, I can avoid RS. This is why I got 100-(enter single digit number here) in DM's full of shotgun/MG happy monkeys. |

| Gunzfactorian Veteran Hero | i believe quest trains "other" skills liek patience and keep movin' oh...kgunz had increased their quest difficulty already i remembered in the goblin king match, only 3~5 goblin cheifs will spawn but now, the initial spawn rate for the goblin cheif is like the spawn rate of mini aneramons in aneramon |

Tumbling to the left will result in a) Getting hit by one of the other shots. b) Tumbling into a wall. c) Tumbling into a mob(group of NPC's). d) Evading the shot in front of you, and maybe they decided not to shoot to the left?

However, people in TDM's/1v1's/CW's actually change pattern or strategy.

You suck I bet, at GunZ. Other than questing. You're really stupid too I believe. Just because you quest makes you good in Pvp, no it doesn't not at all. It does in no way improve your aim. Monsters do not go side to side really fast, they just come at you, they do not run from you, they do not climb walls.

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Never has a goblin gunner aimed so well that I thought "God damn, this ****er is aimbotting". Once they start doing that and you dodge the **** out of them, I will believe the crap you've been posting. |

![]() | Yes, people change their movements, this is basics. I'm talking about the speed and attacks of the NPC's and the Lich itself. The Lich is about 3x your actual speed, while shooting powerful fire(which, if you take half of it, you'll die), spikes(5 will kill you), meteor Fall(instant 1hp, no ap if you take it full). The Unholy's have the ability to stun you with lightening burst(about 1/3 of your total ap, 1/2 your hp), which renders you helpless for about .6 seconds. Curse, which slows you down about 1/2 of your normal speed(this is why we kill them first during quest). And, the lightening wave, which is not overly dangerous, but if hit will do about 1/5 hp, almost no ap. Mini-Superions are incredibly fast, hit about 1/2 you hp and most of your ap, and the stun which does all of your ap, and renders you helpless for about .4 seconds. The mini-liches and mages that spawn shoot at you constantly at you with fireballs and mage arrows, which may not hit overly hard, but that small damage builds up. Then the Generals which, when they catch you, will kill you with 3-4 powerful slashes(often called Berserker's, because of their power attacks). Dodge all of that, take down 6,000 hp and 7,000 ap, in a solo. It took me roughly 70 minutes with dual MG's, ammo pouch and hp prem med. Quote:

Erm yes it does. You think questing makes you good in PvP. And it looks like you're the ignorant one here, not I. And I bet everyone here can vouch for that, thanks.

![]() | Yes, you aim with an MG. Point, click. You know, how you do with everything else? Some people are just better at it. Notice how much a shotgun spreads with a single spurt? It's almost impossible to miss with a shotgun(if you do, I'd expect the opponent to be roughly 600 ping, or you looking the completly wrong way). Is my horrible ability to play: 608 exe626 65 37,187,441 19327/18446 (51.17%) Mostly from being new, and not knowing how to play. At one point, I was 70%. Quit, came back, dropped to 30%(basically went afk in every DM I could find, destined to get as close to 1% as possible). Sadly, I lost interest, so I began killing again. 2,000 deaths later, I'm at 51% :/ 23413 Prof_Q 44 6,797,304 3538/2431 (59.27%) Not much to say here, I just slack a lot of this character. Then of course, my unranked alt, level 7, 0 - 0 k/d so it isn't ranked yet. Last edited by prof; 02-10-2008 at 01:18 AM. |
