It works when the 1/5 chance comes up and you happened to be shooting the head. If you were shooting the body, you'd have still gotten it.

Pfft, now it's just a basic tank strategy. The dagger tank works alright, but I much prefer the Winscar glitch tank. Just massive, charge, massive, charge repeat. And have everyone else shoot at him.

Winscar affects bosses? Do they just get extra damage?

Let me put it this way. When you hit a boss with winscar, you have enough time to switch to your MG shoot at him a bit, and kill a few NPC's then switch back to your sword, charge up another massive, and hit Superion with it. He does the winscar hit animation, and he taunts after he's done with the crazy long animation.

But I think it is true that if you do 100% headshot to a Mini-Boss Superion, then you have a much better chance of getting a Large Skull.

Ah. I've noticed the other monsters also taunt when theyve been hit by the winscar. Thanks for clearing that up
