yea i saw that and the rest of the preview left me with a better impression of the game compared to when i 1st heard about it. the best thing i saw in the preview was that ed boon said not to rule out an M-rated mk game.

Ripping out somebody's spine after beating the **** out of them should be one of the most badass things you can do in a video game...but considering the amount of blood that flies out pre-spinerip the actual ripping of the spine seems less epic to being with, then the amount of blood present when doing it just makes it look like a giant red firework went off while you did it obscuring your vision of the epic gore.
well the excessive blood looked awesome in gears of war....when i 1st chainsawed someone in that game it was one of the greatest feelings/things i ever saw in a game. it just felt cool ripping aliens to shreds. superman gets no pass here, hes an alien and i wanna rip him to shred with his blood splattering all over the place

When i first saw this game i was like "Wow superman vs sub zero?" but then they said that the characters from Mortal Kombat went to some weird universe and got some new powers . Seems kinda dumb, the story line but w/e, it MIGHT be good, might not.

Because it looks decent. You can still see what's going on. And blood usage in a shooter and a fighter are two completely different things.
A lot of times in shooters blood is used as a way to show that you hit the person so it's usually always done a little over the top so you can see it.

Onno, Gow's just looks appealing, perhaps because it looks like it's coming out of their bodies, not just giant blotches appearing near them.

Here:

Excessive blood CAN make stuff look good. But most graphic artists fail to understand the concept of liquids and their physical properties, so when they want to create a hyper violent game...it just ends up looking like ****.

it won't be M rated because they dont want the comic book nerds at the age of 12 to see thier favorite hero ,get his head ripped off or spleen ripped out.

Most comic book nerds are like 30+

The nerds who read comics these days are pretending to read their japanese manga books when they don't know a word of japanese.

Most games do tend to avoid M ratings if they can by offering minor tweaks just so they can make a few extra bucks off of kids who have nazi parents.

yea true. they need to make it with more realistic damage modeling so we actually know where the blood comes out of. i remember doing simple punches that look like jabs had character gushing out blood in previous mk games. the blood in that one screenshot is enough to feed a vampire family for months....wtf.

seeing ur avatar, another thing to bit‎ch about is that the new guilty gear isnt a fighting game.....i mean how fu‎ckin gay is that?
It's still a fighting game.

If you watch the preview for it, once you encounter an enemy it will go into a different setup for fighting.

Like Tekken or something.

Looks bad ass still.
