I can't seem to get it to work, I click the desktop shortcut but all it says is the game is running but there's nothing on my screen.

Go into the game's root dir and delete a file called "version." For some reason that bugs up the start up sometimes, but this solution works 100% of the time.

There used to be a cartoony flying online game that I forget the name of.
It was pretty cool, but flying games just don't LOOK fun.
I dont' know what made me try it, but it was amazingly fun and had pvp modes and modes that were sort of like quest mode in gunz.

It was shut down within 5 months because nobody played it.

I played this about 2 years ago and it was called "Sky Raiders" there are no youtube videos under that name so I might have it wrong. Like you typed it was shut down because no one played it. They are re-releasing it and re-naming it to "Heros in the sky". Unless you mean "Supa Supa" which was flying and cartoony, it was hosted by gamengame and again was taken down because not many people played it. It was a good game but had network errors which were slightly fixed, basically if a lagger joined you'd all lag (90% of the players were Pinoy with their horrid 14 K modems) but like you mentioned pvp was fun.
Heros/Sky raiders was a good game, it had a few skill moves kinda like GunZ which Aero doesn't have, so it had a little more gameplay depth.
