I respect what GunTrix was trying to do, reward his "trusted" users. Fact of the matter is, this community can backstab and betray faster then a 500lb man at an all you can eat convention (I've been here 10 months, i've seen people betray eachother to hang with "cool kids" or whatever. Sad but true) I wont go to deep into it, but I think i can *safefully* say HolyForce was a good example. Had mostly everyone thinking he was legit, then blam! Turned out to be the releaser of the Locust Plague.

The only way this item can be distrubuted is if :

1) prems were released, so that its less popular
2) other Events, where people can earn the coat, causing less rivalry and account "borrowing"

Personally I'd go with choice 2. Tournaments and Events will probably bring this community back together, aswell as giving this game an added excitement value. Players vs GM like in jGunZ anyone?

Back on topic.. Jaz, events may just make the community more distant as if an arrogant person (which will happen) wins a tournament or an event - major bragging rights. Boastfulness + Bragging rights = poison.

Maybe.. but I'm only saying it alot because I would like something new and more involving you know? Currently... its the same thing everyday *dont get me wrong, I love playing this game daily*. Its just It wouldnt be too hard to organise something like "find the administrator" or something alot smarter along those lines.

However, what you say is true. If people boast then yeah, things can get totally out of hand. Thats a shame... but hey, change is good...

well 1 more arrogant person that boasts isnt going to change anything, theres tons out there already, plus its not like most people care. You just put them back in there place by beating them like the lil nubs they are.

But some items being won by events are sorta fun. Now it doesnt have to be all ingame tournaments, it could be like making loading screen, design premium items, whatever.

okay, i don't get how this thing is such a big deal. 2 accounts get banned for just switching. hardly even a big deal.

on the other hand, guntrix forgives some major hackers because he thinks they'll stop. what happened to the strictness of the user agreement there? it became null and the hackers didn't get banned or anything.

apparently switching is worse than hacking -_-?
