0. GTA sucks because: it went from top down 2D to 3D (bad, bad idea), it made its main character black (bad idea, now all the gangsta' fags want to play videogames), and it's single-handedly attracted the most negative attention to videogames since Doom. That's saying something.

1. If Wind Waker wasn't cel-shaded, I would have liked it. Personally, the older version of Link is awesome. Kiddie version is crap.

Reasons why PS2 can fall in a well, preferably in Montana:
It's not portable.
The controller is crap.
Sony doesn't have good first-party games.
The discs are easily scratched/broken.
It gets hit with a hurricane of crappy games every week.
The system itself isn't very sturdy.
Half the games for PS2 are ported to the other systems anyway.
Etc etc etc.

Reasons why GCN pwnz0rs:
It's better than Spiderman, Superman, Batman, and the Hulk combined.

Reasons why PC beats every console/handheld:
God's gift to pirates.
Don't need to buy new systems.
MILLIONS of games.
Games can be copied/burned.
Develop your own games.
No need for controllers, memory cards, broadband adapters, etc.
Pr0n FTW!

Few points:

GCN has the Wavebird, Wind Waker WAS a good game, you can play GBA games on it, and the GBA/SP can be hooked up to it to add a new element of gameplay.

Im going to guess that the 5th reason is: ****ty online play, or that it can't play DVDs.

I have to say that I do agree about the online play. I'm pretty sure Phantasy Star Online is the only online GCN game currently. Every single port of an online-compatible game on PS2 or Xbox has no gamecube online features.

Everybody has a dvd player nowadays anyway, so that one's BS. :P

Yeah, but a lot of people (XBOX, PS2 fanboys) mock is DVD non-compatability (or they did). But, I guess you could get a Panasonic Q if you wanted to play DVDs on a GCN.

XBox sux, and here is my reasoning.

Xbox is good in the loading and graphic department. But what good is this when the games suck? A few good games are available for Xbox but u can get them also on other consoles, which have signature games for themselves that XBox cant take.

But halo is so awesome!

Sure halo is good, but ive said before, the fps should be left to the Computer, knowing that the mouse is alot better then the controller.

GTA was all about the mob man and that was cool but what u arent realizing that that kind of stuff gets old. u cant even figure out that San Andreas isnt a part of the series, its just a game with the GTA name thats just as cool. Vice City isnt apart of the series either and it still pwned even f the guy was italian race or color doesnt matter to me but lemme show u sumtin about games and their "Main Characters"

Zelda: lil white guy...= Pretty good but needs sumtin new
FF: AZN Dude= Great
Goldeneye: Sleek international man of mystery= what is he like 80 now? goog game though, just used to the lil white guy runnin around killin ppl
Most game u find in a store: either sum kind of monster/alien/etc, a masked dude, a superhero, or sum little white guy gettin revenge/saving his gf/saving the world/stopping the big bag guy/all of the above

1. Baiten Kaitos is nothing to the gamecube. It's just a third-party random game. If you'd like me to go on and downplay the HUNDREDS of crappy third-party games PS2 has, I can. And Xbox? Pfft.

GTA won't ruin video games. San Andreas already got its ass handed to itself, so there's not much more to worry about.

My thoughts on the subject.

I personally own GC because of 2 reasons: Supersmash and Medroid Prime
I really dont like GC that much cus playing by myself gets boring after a while. I do like it cus of the 4 controller ports, but again the only thing i would play with pther people at my house is Super smash.

PS2 has the biggest selection of *Good* games. I HATE the fact that it only has 2 controller ports -.-

X-box may not have a great selection of games or whatnot but i say i would place my vote for X-box because
1) 4 controller ports
2)HALO
3)X-box live owns out the ass

But i think the more relevant question is which of the third gen game stations would you pick

Revolution - Innovative(have you seen that controller?)
X-Box 360 - Again Xbox live owns you + this thing has mad HD space
PS3 - uhh i duno <_<
