It IS a shame that this happens to people, and yes, people are more sensitive and it's not solely the bully's fault that it occurs in the first place. But it's common knowledge by now that it DOES occur. You can't then simply say "People shouldn't kill themselves so easily, so I can keep being a royal prick and picking on a little kid." These were grown men and women ****ing with this little girl, and look at how it got blown out of proportion. These ****ing people had nothing better to do?

As far as it being the little girl's fault, the kid was 13 years old. You know, I hate it when people turn their noses up at people who suicide like they've commited some unthinkable crime against the world. The person was feeling such an intense pain or loss that they thought it would be better that they just died then and there. I mean, can you actually grasp that concept? Do you understand what that would be like? And if you do, why are you then concerned about the people AROUND her? I'd be more concerned about what's causing it. And I'll tell you now, it's not the generation's fault. This generation didn't just magically spawn a bunch of young teenagers who like to kill themselves a lot, they were brought up in a way that allowed for it.

Killing yourself isn't that easy. You usually need a strong motivation.
I just have trouble grasping the idea that typing some insults on the internet can cause someone to commit suicide.

The cause of this is the breakdown of the American Family. My dad(he's a doctor) sometimes works at this clinic for kids who have emotional issues and he's told me all of the stories that have led to this generation's problem with depression at a young age and potential, and eventual suicide. These days parents are only thinking about what's best for them instead of the whole family and divorces are often bitter. One usually cheats on the other and the whole family goes through a whole emotional crisis. While some kids manage to cope with the break up, others don't and they usually turn to drugs and other self destructive behavior.
After a split, situations usually get worse for everyone and with the loss of an income kids are often forced to leave their environments(It's MUCH harder to pay a mortgage with a single income) and eventually have to live in housing sub standard compared to their old one.
It's no doubt with all the emotional strife that these kids are going through some contemplate, and eventually take their lives.

Tl;dr: She got called names by some boy she has never met.

Hardly intense pain, not like she came from some rundown family with some Sarah Connor type story, it really is better that they died then and there if you can even consider suicide from that. I've been through worse and i came through the other side laughing.
