Yeah, but I was gonna sell most of my games back to gamestop and buy an Xbox, it's currently pretty popular I think. In any case, if I promise to get her a new game or something I could probably swing her on selling her game, but time will tell. Plus, the Xbox actually has games out for it.

Dunno how £10 converts to American currency, but they're around the $75-$100 range over here. I don't typically like to spend that much money on something that I might not play very much if I can just go to my girlfriend's house and play it there instead.

Not talking about buying a brand new ps2, seeing as you wont even use it regularly. Just check eBay you are guaranteed to find, console and games bundle for like 20$ (£10)

Ps2 slim? I mean, I don't know how much it is worth, but I doubt it's worth less than the games. My cousin was selling his fat Ps2 for like 50 bucks or so.

I wouldn't buy a console over the internet. Too many people out there who don't take care of their ****. I want to see the thing before I buy it, try the controllers, etc. Too much wear and I'm not interested. I'd much prefer having a brand new console anyway, but it would depend on the condition of Colby's console anyway.

Oh and I hate slims. Can't stand them. They don't run right, don't play DvD's right, and they break easy. Gotta have the bigger ones, they're made much better.

And anybody who buys it is an idiot. I mean look i bought a 360 with £100 worth of mods for £100. If i can do that. Why are you spending so much on a last gen console. Also why are you buying brand new last gen stuffs, the whole point of it being last gen is so that it is now stupidly cheap, so the only reason to buy anything brand new is if you are a collector.

And i guess slim ones are going to still be a lot more then the chunky ones, but you can still find it reasonably cheap.

A few weeks ago, i was going to buy an xbox with 200+ games and a 250gb HDD for £150

Check ebay search for Ps2 see how cheap bundles are.

And if there were more deals like that floating around everywhere then I'd probably go for it too if I had 300 bucks to throw at video games in one go. And if the xbox worked then I'd probably keep it, but if not I'd most likely resell it for cheap and buy a brand new one.

You don't need to be a collecter to want to have a nice console.
