totally wrong. making gunz videos and fanmovies and whatsoever totally rocks, i just onehundredpercently disagree with the opinion spread around by ijji video contests promising junk only spikedhair trendy kids staying around the lamp, acting cool would have ANY need for it at all. and these are already interfering way too much into the reasonable intentions gunz FOCKING FANART movies are actually about and the worst thing is, they dont even realize what crap they're spreading, what are they doing to the game and its popularity and what they are actually destroying. i mean, who promised you anything for doing a gunz movie? what is it that leads you to the moment of starting to create a piece of whatsoever? what is it that makes all of the people around here FORGETTING AND NOT IMPROVING AT ALL? is it nothing? well, maybe, but even if... i know for sure the totally and the humongous asshole-nationalgeogeraphicgrafikzZ-yoyoyointhehowz with their emorock-visual fragvideos where one is like another cant be the way, no, must not be the way, cause that's too much and that's how a war starts.

but slapping it into ones face cant help anyone, so i give little hints till the people see the reality they have created.

So are you saying getting prizes aren't what fanart movies are about? I think that's sort of what you're trying to get at with the first part, don't get what you mean by "another cant be the way" part.

There are many ways to advertise something in a trailer, but you're dealing with fans here dude, not commercial artists. So you just know that a contest like this is going to attract different renditions of what's basically the same thing. And really, what does it matter? A trailer is a trailer. It's not MEANT for you, who has seen the game before and can say to himself "Nothing new here". It's made for people who haven't seen the game before. It's meant to suck them in and make them want to play the game. At that point, as long as gameplay is presented well, it doesn't matter if they have an original advertising concept or not. They just need smooth editing and a good flow.

If I were entering this contest, I'd have probably done something along the same lines as everyone else, I just would have tried to do it a lot better. Does that mean I don't have creativity, or I have a warped sense of art? No, it just means I wanted to win a contest. I'll leave my original concepts and ideas for when I'm trying to make a piece of art, not when I'm making an advertisement for Gunz.

with nothing new i actually meant the whole gzf fan videos section, newest frag videos and stuff.

well if you say yourself that you would have done something along the lines, how can you say you actually DESERVE the creativity you could USE to make the trailer or whatever a little more interesting. and anyone who's doing videos for contests should be shot, really, i mean whats the point in gathering dozens of videos which are all the same and prize those who are the "best"? whats next, ijji recruiting child-soldiers for their upcoming war with... uhm some african war country.
