Paremco - Effectspam, no trailer uses effectspam straight from a commercial movie editor, not even from Vegas. Plus ijji want to at least look like they can pass English. It's North ****ing American GunZ, for Pete's sake.

ShinyTHPS - Very good, but Pirates of the Carribean music? Not that it doesn't fit very well, but POC music is very iconic. Very very iconic. I'm sure the people holding the rights to POC and POC music will be less than thrilled, and the creative team even less happy.

Glenn - Too much of a mini-frag. Also slows down considerably in pacing at the end. Too long.

Divine Rose - Mini-frag. FAR too many shotguns. Very noticeable that it was the same dStyler over and over again.


As to why me and banana have the best chance:

darkbanana
- Advertises Quest VERY effectively
- Manages to advertise equip combinations effectively as well, while other people scroll through pservers with Fraps on.
- Manages to make simple fighting look awesome
- Gets across the possibilities of wall jumping
- Admirably deft cinematography, can't feel the amateurism
- Fast pace, matches gameplay
- Variety, all kinds of weapons and scenarios
- At least one seemingly chaotic scene (the original trailer had some, and all were very effective)


Nose
- Good preview of diverse battlegrounds at beginning
- Easy to get the rights to use music (music is from AceSaga, an old MAIET game)
- I can make the claim that this is all ACTUAL GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE. Most replays are from real games, and the few that aren't look like they are.
- Fast paced, matches gameplay
- Again, variety
- Established that you can throw yourself into the air and fight from the sky
- I said in my description that the project files are still intact and can take further editing.
- Some suitably chaotic scenes
- WALL RUNNING!!111

I find Paremco annoying for his arrogance and even he doesn't admit he has the winning trailer.

I wouldn't have entered this competition if I didn't think I had a good chance to win. So yes, my opinion is still firm that both me and banana are going to the top spots, assuming ijji doesn't miss us.
