I do agree with you that a person should not need to go into detail about methods used to create specific parts of a video if they don't want to. I find it rude for someone to seriously expect me to describe (in detail)what effect I've used for this or that, if I'm not really affiliated with that person. Clearly I've done the work to create that effect and make it unique to my style, so why should I allow another person to just take that and use it for themselves? It may sound selfish, but if you make a good video and then teach everyone else how you've done it, you're ruining the magic behind the concept in the first place. Like revealing the technique to an illusionary magic trick.

It would be one thing if you had simply made a thread about this common occurance, but you turned it into quite the rant. Keep your issues with other members to PM's, and do not create entire threads over them.

For some reason I decided to actually read your main post after noticing the title of the thread(I skimmed it all, previously). And I've gotta say, you're just gushing with ego all of a sudden. You're like a grammatically incorrect version of Microbe or something man, just cool your jets. Most of your effects can be accomplished through simple presets, and some of them were straight out of tutorials I've seen before. I'm not saying you don't have talent, but you don't need to just spew out "I'm awesome" like everyone wants to hear **** like that.
