I've done both.
Effects and no effects.

I enjoy the latter more. It doesn't depend on dazzling the spectator with added flashes and colors. I also feel more confident releasing a movie with less effects.

dooood ur sick at editing. I'm also trying to get better aswell. Also the colour editing or spliting was sick.

u use adobe after effects??

sony vegas and particle illusion are my only editing equipment T.T, i got AAE from a person for making them a vid that im working on. and im getting APP soon. im like learning it and i havnt used it alot.
