Pressing 'H' will remove the GUI from your screen while viewing a replay, and 'M' will enter free camera mode, which enables you to move your camera freely, as the name implies. In free cam mode, use your movement keys, typically 'W' to move directly forward, 'S' to move directly backwards, and 'A' and 'D' to strafe left and right respectively. Space allows you to move the camera directly up the z-axis while Ctrl allows you to move directly down the z-axis. Turn the mouse to rotate the camera. Pressing your right click mouse button will allow for a rotational viewing mode(turn mouse to rotate) about the selected character. Position your camera at the desired angles, or record from the standard view. Keep in mind that the names over a character's head will show even through walls and across the level when free camera mode is activated. There is currently no way to disable these names.
Pressing 'H' will remove both the black bars and text. This is a common view mode for frag movies." |
While that is definitely more descriptive, I've only altered the first part that you reworded in order to be more clear about what I'm talking about. Aside from that though, I had tried my best to condense the instructions and cut out the fat so that people did less skimming and more reading. Most people will just tinker with those camera controls and discover their use for themselves.

Rofl. I may make a "common errors" guide or something.
