GTDRPG: Of Angels and Demons(LIVE)

Anjio turned to what appeared to be the leader of the humans inside this helicopter. He wore a helmet, and seemed to be speaking to the crewmen. He definitely couldn't be speaking to Anjio, since he would not believe soldiers would try to reason with demons. All the better, too. Reasoning left little time for killing.

The weapon that the man was pointing at Anjio was something he'd never seen before. Then again, he had always been an old-fashioned warrior, never really focusing on the high-tech weaponry. From what he knew, they did not inflict pain as much as immediately destroy the target. That was no fun way to fight.

'Are you going to do something, or do I have to start this off?' Anjio said, pretty much immediately rushing forwards past the man after speaking. He aimed for the crew, deciding to go in for a low-placed slash, hoping to create chaos among the crew.
This had an added advantage. If their leader tried to shoot him now, he would undoubtedly hit one of his own men. Anjio had no trouble with that, but he was sure that the human thought differently.

"Psst...Kjal..."

Kjal slowly looked to his front. Raile was there, sleeping. Montage was next to Raile, sleeping as well. But the voice sounded like Montage, coming from his right.

"It's Montage. Don't look at your right. You can't see me anyway, but it'd make you suspiscious. I'm an illusionist."

Kjal nodded once. The word illusionist was enough.

"Your friend with the drill there, he had a change of plans...he's making my father go to Travia. I don't think there's anything worthwhile happening there. I want to stay in Astra. Will you help me? I don't like seeing my homeland in a wreck like this."

"I understand, Montage."

Kjal got up, noticing Montage's body move a bit, as if he was really sleeping. Kjal stood up and moved towards the center of the helicopter, sliding the currently dull blade back into his belt. His winter jacket was slightly ripped, and his hard leather pants were dirty. Behind him, a silent soft movement of wind followed Kjal. Kjal then stopped and sat down once more, slowly. He wanted a plan.

His original plan was to bash Omega in the face, for keeping something hidden from this group of ragtaggers. Then wake everyone up. But the gem finds it very pointless. All he'd make was another enemy.

How should we do this?

All the action is in Axium. There'd be no point going to Travia. Let's jump.

...what about the kid?

Take him along...his skills are quite useful.

And no blood-sacrificing from him. He's a kid.

Kjal was sitting right next to Armand. Then, Meibatsu woke Armand up...

Armand, wanna follow down? Lol, let's find a hellgate and jump through it. After killing some people of course. Muahahahaha, your choice, bud.

Suddenly, with superhuman speed facilitated by his Slighthand armour, Ivan went down, too, his leg extending to sweep Anjio off his feet.

Anjio tripped, unable to manoeuvre out of the way. He slid onto the floor and smacked against a wall. His built-up speed was now working against him as he struggled to get up. Out of precaution and anger, he raised his gun and shot in the direction of the human. He'd likely miss, but right now he needed a second to regain his balance.

Being in close quarters, Ivan took the full force of the blow. His feet skidded backwards across the floor, but he remained upright in no small amount due to his armour and its gyroscopic systems.

"Warning: Armour structural integrity at 74.23%.," came the familiar metallic female voice within his helmet.

Ivan stepped on the demon's gun, keeping it on the floor. The crew of the ship threw a net of palladium thread magically coated with a fine film of holy water over the demon. Then, a tanned lady in a lab coat approached and plunged the needle of a syringe into the side of Anjio's neck, giving him a large dose of a very potent tranquiliser.

Anjio struggled, but his strength weakened each time he tried. Something was stuck in his neck, but since his head was still lodged on his neck after it had been pulled out, Anjio paid no attention. He roared and growled, like a beast in captivity which, he slowly realized, he now was.

The tranquiliser slowed him down, eventually, but he would not be as indignant as to actually lose consciousness in front of these meatbags. His roars became a low growl, and the soldiers slowly stepped away from him. His body was numb, but he was fully aware of what was happening around them. With trouble, he spoke or, rather, threatened.

'I will not... let you weaklings... ruin my chance... of revenge.' Anjio growled, as he fell to the floor, now delivered to what mercy these humans could muster.

[Sarcor]

James was still not asleep. Something was bothering him. He peered the the other corner of his eye to see Kjal nod once and stand up. Interesting.

He groaned and stretched his tired legs. Then, pretending that he didn't know where the copter was going, his eyes flew open and asked
"So... where are we going now?" A good question to strike up a conversation.

[Prinny]

Heh. Nice idea.

Raile woke up immediately, but he showed no movement to ensure that no one realized he had woken up. He kept his conscious alive to hear what this conversation's going to be like.

I'm waiting, little demon man. I'm waiting...

Kjal glanced at Omega, and slowly, and with utmost care, he whispered.

"Your friend, Omega, there, has just forced the pilot to go to Trivia, and by force, I mean, threatened. I don't know what he threatened, but, I'm sure it was something along the lines of murder..."

"I'm going to jump. I can't afford to leave Axium at a vital time like this. It's my homeland."

Earlier, the demon said, just because it's your homeland, doesn't mean you have to save it.

...But it doesn't mean you can ignore it.

Right, right...

Kjal hoped not all of them would come and ask him. If they do, Omega will get real suspiscious.

"Tell Armand about my plan. If you or he wants to follow, feel free. I'm going to have a chat with Omega..."

Kjal slowly strided, making long steps in a slow tempo. Once he reached Omega, Kjal started out with a question...

"Hey, Omega, I need to ask you something. What happened there, back there, between you and Epsilon? While I was trying to save you, you were occupied. Only when I managed to break his arm, you became aware, right after that missile hit...So, what happened?"

Sunburg was already covered by dust at this point. It looked like a mist. What some of the people onboard did not is that, they were currently looking at the western part of town. The initial attack of the six hell rifts had laid devastation on it.

The heli flew farther and farther...

Roger Roger Kjal. I'll have a quick confrontation with Omega about the location of Narmina, then I'll hop overboard with you. If need be I can help ye down, either by my Feather Fall spell, or by flying you down. XD

"Holy fu-" Amand yelled, waking up abruptly from the emphatic commands of Meibatsu. Looking around sheepishly, he quickly lied; "I had a dream we were crashing. Heheh."

Updating his mental list of passengers within the Helicopter, he noticed the interesting Dehuman-looking individual about the converce with-

HIM. Damn, why do I keep forgetting to talk with him. Hrm. Lets get it over with I guess.

Getting up, Armand slowly walked over to join the two interesting individuals that appeared to be having a delightful conversation.

"Ah, hello. Hope I'm not interrupting anything." Extending his hand in a sign of comradery, he added, "I'm Armand. Glad you guys could get out of that Stadium without losing something important, heh."

Underneath the happy-go-lucky facade, Armand steeled himself for the question he was about to ask, and the answer he was about to recieve.

"Uhm, if you don't mind asking, I believe I've seen you before." Turning to the man with the Drill on his head, he continued; "And I believe you may know something I need to know. I think it was you who was in the tree on the day I was ambushed by that female mage from Burning Hell. After I was... Ahem, knocked unconcious, did you hear her say where she was going to next? I'd appreciate it if you'd attempt to recall as something as minute as that, but I need to track her down." Armand concluded.

Omega scratched his head in response as he pondered on the question. "I don't really remember much", he responded. His voice seemed to be far off as he continued talking. "But there was this really grinding pain, see?"

He patted his side gingerly with two fingers. "Broke two of my ribs, and I must have blacked out afterwards." His mouth broke out into a smile. "Sorry if I scared you or anything."

"Ah, hello. Hope I'm not interrupting anything." Extending his hand in a sign of comradery, he added, "I'm Armand. Glad you guys could get out of that Stadium without losing something important, heh."

"Oh, uh... I'm Omega. It's nice to meet you."

"Uhm, if you don't mind asking, I believe I've seen you before." Turning to the man with the Drill on his head, he continued; "And I believe you may know something I need to know. I think it was you who was in the tree on the day I was ambushed by that female mage from Burning Hell. After I was... Ahem, knocked unconcious, did you hear her say where she was going to next? I'd appreciate it if you'd attempt to recall as something as minute as that, but I need to track her down." Armand concluded.

Omega shook his head. "I'm really sorry, but to be truthful I didn't stick around until the end. I didn't see what happened to her."

"What's with these questions anyhow?" He laughed jokingly. "I feel like I'm being interrogated."

At this point, James stood up, face serious. He stood in his place, staring at Omega, daring him to make any sudden moves.

He saw Armand coming over to them. He decided this was a good time to spill the baked, burnt beans.

"Well, ya see...I only have one answer to your question..."

Kjal folded his arms. Something opened the back door. Montage appeared as if he was a mirage and his illusion from the other end dispersed in a show of blue sparks.

"I'm not going to Trivia. Great job, though, blackmailing the pilot. You make me look more human."

He laid one hand full of claws on Omega's shoulder.

"Have a nice trip. And here's my blackmail."

Kjal's teeth now formed his wolf grin.

"If you do kill this boy's father, I am going to make sure YOUR head burn. Slowly, starting from the core, out of your eye sockets. Thank you for listening. You always did remind me of Controls."

In a blur, Kjal crouched, grabbed hold of Montage, pushed off the helicopter ramp and skydived, shouting a final word.

"COWABUNGA!"

He knew Jeremy and Gherony would have done the same. After staying at Dagger's Cliff for several years, after the Red-Storm was gone, they had practiced, jumping off snowy peaks, landing on their swords. It was a perfect technique.

What Kjal didn't know was that they had done it when he was dead.

The Ferret's Eye was now flying near the Astran Eastern Docks, or rather known as Gangway of Continents. It was where Astrans and Travians traded, ships always going in and out of the piers.

The town has many things for sale. Somewhere in the maze of sewers also lay a whole blackmarket of traders, with items of value that would have been illegal in any of the two continents.

If one concentrated, one would see a brown blur moving down, but it was already a two o'clock evening, with several patches of clouds. It was hard to see things fall out of the sky, unless it was bright white or a luminous red.

Well, Armand should have heard Kjal clearly. Sarcor may follow down, now. Lol. Cowabunga is a refrence from the 2nd rpg when Jeremy and Gherony gave up their parachute for Ailysa and jumped off.

Suddenly, the helicopter shook. The remaining people on the helicopter wondered what it was, but it was just Raile who fell off the bench and is rolling out of the helicopter itself.



"Sorry guys. It was a nightmare. Carry on." He said softly, thinking that he's still on the helicopter. But then he realized something was wrong.

Why do I hear the sound of air? Hard blown wind? And why do I feel cold...

He opened his eyes immediately to check his situation. There was no one around - just the clouds, the wind, the humongous sun, and a brown blur far below him, possibly falling down as well.

What's this? A port? Hopefully I can find a weapon shop...

He sighed as he reaches terminal velocity.

Montage turned slightly green...

"I'm going to vomit!"

"Not yet! We're still a bit high!"

Kjal slightly slowed their descent by spreading himself wider. Then the man in black dropped beside him. Kjal made a grab for his arm, since he was falling too fast.

"Fancy seeing you here!"
