| Gunzfactorian Guardian | Name: Hands of Purity Picture: ![]() Forces: Good History: "Your hands will never bear the blood of thy enemies," this is the last will and testament of the fallen angel, the arch demon christened Chaos. Betrayal in the highest of ways, death, destruction, turmoil and blood forged into a great weapon. Twenty and four years ago The Arch Demon of Chaos stood proudly watching as the seeds of betrayal he had planted began to sprout in the hearts of humans. A wicked smile and a slight tilt of the head signifying his utter satisfaction with his own work. There stood a human that drew his sword to his own kind and threatened to kill all and burn the city. Then a subtle breeze sent a chill like no other down his spine. He turned and there she was. He had never seen her before, or anything nearly as beautiful. Full pink lips, flowing auburn hair, smooth pale skin, and eyes of such seriousness and pain that one could barely utter words under her gaze. He knew she was an angel, but he knew he was in love. He would do anything to be with this one woman. Even betray his "master". "And this shall be a sign unto you: The child who will bring an end to Burning Hell shall be the product of great destruction." That proclamation turned Hell into a mad house. "An end to Burning Hell? Pfft, there is no such child and Never will be . Chaos, if you find anything that matches this description, kill it." It had been only a year since the faithful day that Chaos had met the Angel of Destruction. She was pregnant he knew the child that the proclamation spoke of was his. He knew what had to be done. "I will forge it, " He said to himself. "I will make it so that his hands will never bear the blood of his enemies. This will be my final gift to my son, his right of birth." With those solemn words they were made. In the nine months before Nathan's birth his mother thought that her love, Chaos, had been killed. For nine months he searched for the most powerful materials, the strongest armamentarium that evil had to offer. With the bones of the most powerful, and the death of the weak. Forged them with his own two hands, crafted and melded with the fire of his soul they were made. With all the love this father had to give, his final will and testament was a message to his son, his dying words were the only surviving clue to the artifact The Arch Demon of Chaos left for his son. "Your hands will never bear the blood of thy enemies." Powers Granted: Artifact Destroyer, Super Strength, Demon Slayer, Force Shield Generation, Shield Piercing, Reflection, Bind (Left gauntlet has the ability to transform into a shield that can be thrown at one's enemies in an attack called What Thou Hath Wrought.) | Gunzfactorian Commando | My characters don't really need any artifacts, rather then an unneeded ambition of having an "uber-pro unbeatable character that can't die." As I've always been against the idea of artifacts, I've got an idea which balances out the players’ use of artifacts with those without, bringing each player to 'equal' standards, rather then those with an artifact having an advantage over the other, through unnecessary powers. So I’m going to take this on a new angle; I intend to bring it back to the good old days, where we focused on the storyline, rather than our characters’ acquiring of powers. This is where I bring in the Artifact Freezer: ____________________________________________ Name: Artifact Freezer Picture: ![]() Forces: Neutral History: During Sereno’s investigation of the Order’s magic and ways to overcome it, he set Maxwell Corporations on the task. After a year and a half of research, Maxwell Corporations tested arcane magic and even examined the deceased, Roland Frederick’s Lion Smite, collecting various information. Although struggling to find a balance between Science and Magic, Maxwell Corporations discovered some esoteric ties between the Lion Smite and its magical properties. They observed how the magic resided within the artifact and learnt how to disengage it, with enormous difficulty. It was found that while the magical properties were successfully able to be suspended from functioning, Maxwell Corporations were unable to extricate the magic out of the hammer. Their newfound news was dismissed by Chairman Sereno, after confiding their breakthrough with him and he ordered for them to stay on the objective of overcoming the Order’s magic, rather then fiddling with mere artifacts. It was unknown to the company at the time that Sereno himself was in possession of an artifact and that they were thus contributing to Sereno’s fears for his own artifact to be threatened as a result of their research. Disappointed with the rejection of their finds and unable to receive funds for the project, the investigation on the artifacts was discontinued. Meanwhile, Ruby’s own ambitions to locate the heroes that partook in the Machine Campaigns were taking place. She had persuaded the chief of the Los Andreas Travian Law Enforcement Agency to help her find the heroes, in return of presenting him with the prototype of the Artifact Freezer, a device which had been produced during the preceding investigations. The chief had boasted his newly obtained device to his workforce during many occasions, bragging about how it could immobilise all other artifacts in a 100m radius, when a button, which he proudly demonstrated, was pressed. Raven had eyed it with interest during his complacent outbursts. Inevitably, when Raven discovered her boss dead, after he was shot at the back of the head during the Demon’s assault in Los Andreas, she seized the device from the lifeless man’s pocket, due to her ill-manured nature and not wanting to leave it to waste, she reasoned. Raven had caught sight of an inscription at the base of the Artifact Freezer, reading: Artifact Freezer To use: To ensure that Artifacts won’t be accidently immobilised with the touch of a button, the Artifact Freezer has been customized with a “lock.” To unlock the Artifact Freezer, its two pair of levers must be opened outwards and it will indicate that it has been unlocked with a faint glow. To activate the Artifact Freezer, press the center button and to inactivate, press the button again and the button should pop up. Make sure to squeeze both levers back together when finished to “lock” the device back into place. Powers Granted: Immobilisation, Force Shielding, Magic Resistance, Glow Corrupted Powers Granted: Incorruptible Default Holder: Los Andreas T.L.E.A. chief Current Holder: Raven Force Shielding – The energy from the artifacts’ powers that have been suspended MUST go somewhere… Immobilisation – Suspends artifacts’ powers from functioning, including the holder’s. But I say this, once again: if this Artifact wins, I will personally do everything I have said above. God damn people, have a sense of balance. Not you, Dan, screw j00. J00 and your "SHECK-SHOAL INNIH-BIH-SHUNS" with Zeph. Lololol. *dies of instant brain cancer* Respawning in 3... Edit And you DID NOT submit the biscuits in this contest, so it doesn't count! Also, aren't you contradicting yourself? O ROFL. Screw Kjal, that's what everyone thinks. It says so right there in the discussion tags = kjals an emo. lololol. But very well. I didn't know Splitter was to balance it. I thought he'd just accept it right away. Too overpowered without balancing consequences/negative effects = Not For the win? But like I like to say, "Fine then.". Have I been misunderstood? Like Ailysa? Or am I just doing this so I could underline the points? lol, underline! Underline this! Kjal is underlined!] Isn't it obvious? It's says so right there! O LOL STOP UNDERLINING! | ||

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | I guess I got abit angry when I wrote the History, I wanted something so awesome he would have a true reason to say NO (or Yes O.o). Not like last time when I held back and was "Docile" and "Realistic" and still had my dreams crushed. I honestly think if the Artifact wins he would edit it abit. If he Doesn't I will (Thats a promise)....And I understand what you mean about my supposed "contradiction". Would you have rather have waited two weeks for "him" to say "Hell no edit that ****."? Besides that if I wanted to say Screw Kjal. I would come out and say it ( For Example:" *** kjal!"). As far as I'm concerned, We kool. Ive got enough bad blood between some of teh other RPGers. Ailysa will Always be "misunderstood". Its a guy named Dan with the forum name Ailysa....Come on! He had to know he was gonna get "misunderstood". @ Ailysa <3 ^.* "Abuse of Quotation marks ©2008 Kumori Corp" """"""""""""""""""""""""" """"""""""" """ """""" """""""" """""""""""""""""""""""""" """"" "' Last edited by kumorilastangel; 07-03-2008 at 07:10 AM. |

What's the point of editing something if you don't have a cause? It's like writing a fabulous essay, only to have yourself throw it outside the window for no reason, just because you wrote it for fun! ... Lol. Exclamation points sounds so serious on the internet. I jsut discovered this as I re-read this post while typing it. You should always put some sort of justification that you are fairly happy at the moment, and was not flaming the person. Put somesort of smiley or something like "Heh", and always mean it. If you noticed, I like to use the word "Heh" or "Meh" alot. That shows I have nothing agaisnt the person at the moment of typing the word. Quote:
See, I did it again! Anyways, use the discussion to discuss. This post had only one thing to do with the artifacts. Hehehehe. | ||
