| Gunzfactorian Patriot | I like the controversial classics the best. In some semblance of order: Brave New World The Stranger (The Cure did a song about this one called Killing an Arab) Fahrenheit 451 Animal Farm 1984 There are others along those lines that I can't remember that well. Dan Brown is decent, though people seem to disregard anything that doesn't have ROBERT LANGDON (i.e. Digital Fortress/Deception Point). Robert E. Howard is pretty sweet too (author of the Conan stories). Also, for a great science fiction book, read Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard. I wish I kept better records of what I read, but there are some. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | If you haven't read the series: A Song of Ice and Fire, by George RR Martin I STRONGLY recommend you give it a shot. My personal favorite book of all time is the 3rd installment called "A Storm of Swords". I like to read Drow books even though the authors aren't always the best, but the universe was a wonderful creation. The Abhorsen's Triology are pretty good books. I like the Necromancer's techniques with seven bells and seven gates of death. A very imaginative world, just like I love it. As far as GZF stories goes: Sigh's short works are usually good entertainment. I haven't been able to finish all of Admiral's work but he writes very well. Nosedigger's Dust-Up is a promising work in progress. Wixern's stuff is worth mentioning too, usually entertaining. PS: Thanks for the free advertisements Sarcor, lol. Edit: Thank you to those who mentioned my work, Fiery Lotus 6 is incubating don't worry about it. I haven't given up on it. |

I haven't read a single Harry Potter book before; I don't think I'd have the paitience to read 400+ pages of text for a series of seven books. | |
