| Gunzfactorian | Hey not bad, I like it. But being an artist (by hobby) I'll just tell you this: Copying art, drawing art thats not from your own mind will not improve your skills. You'll never aquire the artistic finesse and creative touch -- nor will you gain your own distinctive style of drawing by copying something. Trust me when I say this, you can copy work once you establish that finesse and style -- it'll look much better then, but for now while you're still practicing/learning stay away from it. Unfortunately I know this because one of my friends who I taught to draw like 5 or 6 years ago started practicing by copying art (not tracing just looking at it). Even today, he doesn't make his own pictures, he STILL copies and by looking at his folder I just think to myself..."hes been drawing for 6 years and he still sucks..." Its not even an exaggeration, this guy draws in his free time ALL the time -- he has atleast 500 pictures to show. But they're all really crappy. Trust me, STAY AWAY FROM THIS!! But keep practicing, the finesse and artistic touch come with time. No magic there. Good luck. EDIT: Yes use sharpened pencils anyways don't be lazy! XD |

![]() | Copying stuff is ok, but if you really are interested in drawing consider learning about human anatomy. And slowly move to shading. Once you get that down - you'll feel like leonardo da vinci. You'll soon be able to customize, and create your pown person and best of all - it'll look realistic. |

| Gunzfactorian | look I just want to make this clear I am not lazy I am not fat my wrists measure about 4cm across. I play a lot of football sundays game monday training. Okay back to the drawings copying isn't the best thing to do but it's given me the confidence to draw bigger and better things. they are in my own style especialy the shading i am half way through drawing/copying another picture. its a past-time, it calms me and kills the boredom. Yes I love drawing figures i'm doing that at school A3 size models and A4 |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Scrap what every has said thus far, you are too young to understand completely the complexities of human anatomy. There is nothing wrong with your drawings. Copying an image completely by eye is fine. Keep doing it. Only time will increase your drawing skill. Nice artwork! |
