| Gunzfactorian Commando | Pretty Simple.. And Would Be Effective.. Regardless Of Ur Location.. Ok, We Already Know There Is An Option To Do A Level Range/lock In Games.. Now.. What If There Was An Option.. To Select A Ping Range In The Options Slot When Setting Up A Game.. For Instance.. Lets Say, You Want Only A Ping Range Of 20-90 Thats Reflecting Off Your End. So You Set It Up & That.. Which Would Lock Out Any Laggers Including Distant Laggers That Are Trying To Enter That Game.. Not Sure If This Idea Has Been Stated.. If Not.. I Think Maiet Should Look Into It.. Even Though I Highly Doubt They Will.. Ah Well.. Just A Thought. |

![]() | Ah yes, the Rakion system. You do know that everytime I tried to play that game I had the biggest trouble ever finding a game that actually allowed me (even games in holland) -_-;; |

![]() | i dont think that would work very good.. alot of the laggers have low pings while they arent moving or anything which would let them in the game, but as soon as fighting starts there ping goes reall high |

| Gunzfactorian Commando | i'm still tryin to figure out how.. 1 lagger would bring down a game.. obviously it would be distant lag on his end.. so he better find someone with his ping range.. if its not distant lag.. he better step up his INET connection.. simple as that. it was an idea. |

![]() | The game could also constant filter, not just at the beginning when they join. So, say some has a low ping when they join but once they start moving it spikes. Well, if it stays spiked for, say, 5 full seconds, they would automatically get the boot. It might put some more load on the servers at first but once laggers realize that they aren't welcome, I think it would balance itself out. |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | How about....is Gunz peer to peer connection? I mean does the game send information to a server which relays to everyone else? Or does it relay to each person? Im thinking a protocol to send the ping to person to person would cause a 10-15ms extra ping on everyone but then again it wouldnt lag the whole game if someone was lagging. Eh who knows the thing about the laggers getting the boot if they have too high ping is that usually if 2 laggers are in a game, everyones pings jump really high. |
