![]() | Well, sup and all. But, question. I keep getting called a sprayer, I guess it's because I like to use my SMGs, seeing as that it's near-impossible to get experience and bounty points anywhere else for me. But, what does it entail? I'm sure there's other weapons that would constitute as "spraying". I try to use my sword, or a dagger if people keep using them on me, or my rifle. But my SMGs last a good while. Ellans are pretty good. :S |

![]() ![]() ![]() | "Sprayer" is a word created by people that are jealous/not good enough to handle the fact that they are killed by a person that masses shots from a weapon. The word is most often used with people that use rifles/SMGs/MGs. Sometimes they are used with shotguns as well. It basically means that you are shooting everywhere randomly until you kill the person. Obviously this is not true as you must have aimed to kill them(without hacks). The person calling you a sprayer is pretty much a person not skilled enough to admit the fact that they died fairly. He/she intends to make fun of you for killing him without skill. All in all, simply ignore those people as replying to them will only make you look lower and may cause hatred/anger/arguements. ![]() |

![]() | There are many different views on a sprayer. To me, there are obviously different distinctions. To some (usually bitter) people, anybody with an automatic weapon is a sprayer. The end. No argument. Sometimes, that includes anyone that clicks fire really quickly with pistols for example. (Usually these people are the ones being hit). Obviously, many top talented players may use an automatic weapon. They are accurate, have good range, and do decent damage. But just because they hold an automatic weapon does not qualify them as a sprayer. Advanced k-style moves such as million step can be applied to auto weapons. Finally, the biggest advantage to an auto weapon, is that it can overcome lag. I used to use double double revs in battle because I have good aim. However, how well I performed would often depend on how laggy the game was. Auto weapons help make up a little of that random annoying lag. For me, a sprayer is someone who fires thoughtlessly, usually wasting ammo and not using aim. A sprayer will fire whether there is a clear shot or not, or sometimes just when he is flustered under battle conditions to feel better. There is a fine distinction between a sprayer and a sniper, and that would be strategy and aim (and kills). A sniper can be a good addition to help balance out a team. So when other people get flustered or irritated during a match, and complain about you being a 'spray noob', etc........, just look at your score (When I am in rifle mood, and go 10-1 or something, there is bound to be at least 5 spray complaints) If you have more kills than deaths, you should ignore the bitter person, and continue whatever you're doing. Obviously, its working if they are complaining. If not, and your team is also losing, then chances are you should change your strategy. Specifically, maybe people call you a sprayer more only because you use SMGs, which have much lower accuracy than a rifle? Just do what works for you. I remember fighting a level 50 that was million stepping with high-dmg SMGs. Hard. As. Hell. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Forgot to add this to my reply as well. Spraying pretty much means to shooting thoughtlessly and constantly as I said before(and others). There IS such thing as a sprayer though. Just clearing this up as my post above seems to imply that the word "spraying" is only used for people that can't handle the results. |

![]() | Yeah, I can understand that. But still, even if I "spray", whoever I'm firing at is in my sights. If I have to move around wildly, it's because of some guy behind me with a rocket launcher who "is si pro la". EDIT : And usually I have more kills then deaths, especially in high-population games. I usually am the one kill-stealing and running away. :P |

| Gunzfactorian Hero | There is no way to NOT spray with weapons such as machine gun and SMG. The bullets fly around everywhere, so you spray even if you don't want to. It's a completely different story with rifles because the shots are extremely accurate. It's kinda hard to spray with rifles unless if you have seizures with your right hand while playing gunz...... |

![]() | Spraying is easy to use, but hard to master. Case and point, I can spray with the noobiest weapons and armor in the game and still get at least some kills You'll have to take my word for it, but I swear my k:d was above 1:1 for that game. It Maybe 7:3 or 5:3... one of those... |
