Dagger haters...

Post why you hate daggers here... That is, if you're man enough. ^.^... I, personally, am a dagger user. I can use all melee weapons but I find daggers to be exciting and unique. Unfortunately, most other players DON'T. I find it common when people say "dagger n00b", even if I don't touch them with my dagger. It's just because I HAVE a dagger. Next, I've been kicked 6 times today. 5 times because I had a dagger and once because the person thought I had a speed hack... also because I had a dagger. (If you get good with these things, they're amazing. And yes, I took it as a compliment until he kicked me.) Why do you hate dagger users? (If you do.) I'd like to refute all negative opinions on daggers. Thank you.

That's not the point of this post, but thanks for replying. It IS true that newbie daggers users are easy to kill, but so are all other newbie players. That's inevitable. I didn't understand the second part of your post.

Level 3? Entry channel + Dagger = Death... to everyone but you.

yea, i like pissing off noobs, cos i'm not that good with a dagger, daggers a hella fast, if you know how to use 'em they're fking good,

It's actually worse than most people think... I'm good with a dagger, no doubt. The thing is that I'm not GREAT with a dagger. Most "pros" or skilled melee fighters can beat me. Even then, they still feel the need to kick me. That's the problem.

i hate them because they is hard to block there hit and they stalk u out nowhere and is not a reflex for me (unless i see a dagger in front of my eyes) to "safefall" his right-click move -_-... but it's ok for me to play with them... is another tactic just like mine

Hard to hit? If a dagger user is hard to hit, that person is very good and you'd have trouble hitting a sword/kodachi user at the same level. (Not in numbers, but in skill.) I appreciate your open mindset, though.

Lol Dgaus. I remember meeting you earlier in a DM and just stabbing the hell out of you. You can't forget how fast a dagger will stab. Once you get cornered, you'll always have that fear with you.

Eh, dagger user, kodachi user, sword user, all the same to me. I've fought all of them, been owned by all, owned them back as well. it really just depends on your strengths and weaknesses. I've learned to ALWAYS be ready to safefall no matter where you are, and to always change tactics when fighting someone with daggers/kodachis/swords. I use a sword myself... daggers: stay away, shoot from a distance, suddenly close in with your block up, catch a massive, boom then avenger. kodachis: stay away mostly unless you can bf really fast (kodachis are faster than swords of course..though in reality, you'd think swords would be weaker and faster, while kodachis are vice versa...) Swords, mainly keep that block up, and be doubly careful not to get knocked off guard by a bf.

They all have ways of giving and getting owned. Just need to learn them, and learn who you're fighting. those tactics wont help every time, because of course no one is the same. Dagger users...I used to hate them when I was a noob, but now I don't mind them (I hate that instafall crap though -_- that is the only true cheap way to win..because you cannot safefall..you well..INSTANTLY fall.)

Daggers can be very provocative and insulting to some people. Say if you're in a corner and theres someone slashing you with a kinfe theres nothing you can do but hit spacebar and hope for a successful jump. It's the feeling of helplessness that people get angry at.
