![]() | Notice how fun Gunz is? How different a shooting game can be? But the ironic thing is, such a good game that was meant to satisfy thousands of players and be unique, has the most e-drama and worst security. So it promises us to make us happy, then kills the fun with the bad security. Some might say this is beta, but i do not think i've seen a game that has been in beta for like how long now...one and a half year? Anyways, fun game, nice mods, crappy security, bad graphics. Balances out heh. I don't know why i post this, but doesnt it seem like every post nearly revolves around these factors? Either they talk about how good the game is, or they talk about how bad the security is. In conclusion, i think im high. |

| Super Moderator! | I dont think that GunZ has bad graphics. And you're over exagerating (I dont know how to spell it) GunZ has been beta since June of 2005, not even a year yet. Theres a pretty big difference between a year and a half and almost a year. But almost a year is still a long time for a game to be in Beta, so I agree with you I guess. |

![]() | Sorry let me rephrase it, not bad security, i mean the mods aren't active like in other games to ban hackers. Edit: Especially in beta, to keep people settled and luving this game. About the graphics, depends on people's view, my whole gr9 class about 200 people say gunz has bad graphics after i introduce them to the game, but like 50 people i know still play. My bad about year and a half thing..cant think properly. |

![]() | If you go to Official MAIET announcements, you can find a thread called "I do not w/e ingame moderators!" And MAIET's failure to meet deadlines caused 10,000 people to quit. Sad really. |

| Member | Not to mention everytime they get a large player base a new major hack comes out that causes 80% of those people to quit, and then Maiet doesnt bother fixing it until a few weeks later. But yes, it is a great game, or I'd have moved on by now. I've been here since the beginning, might as well see it to it's end. |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | OpenBeta are often mass test plans. Since GunZ is free and they like us SO much they kept the open beta open. And now that hackers have come and gone they are also able to make patches to hacks of their client and server as well as negate exploits. If you haven't noticed yet GunZ is Korean. They don't have the same support Canadian and American Game developers have. But they are doing a bang up job giving us something to do. If we all understand that this game IS an OpenBeta and that openbetas don't always go from beta to game (some even fall back to closed or go back into development) then we should be able to appreciate the Art that goes into game design and the beta as a whole. We're getting game high off what IS a beta. The graphics in GunZ don't need to be any higher than they already are. CEO of Nintendo has said (coinciding with alot of true veteran gamers that) "games can be as shiny as they want, but its the gameplay that keeps people coming back". I don't like GunZ THAT much, so I prefer playing on closer to high settings (even though I perform better at lower settings). Even on Highest Settings with AGC and high bass output, and hardware mixing for audio, the game SOUNDS great. Then When u set all the visual options to maximum (except brightness [set to half for realism on most maps]) you will notice that the game has an artistic shading air to it that can be found in games like Splinter Cell: Pandora tomorrow and Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. GunZ is as unique as a revolver weilding police man. Its just not something you see every day. But you may see it. IGunZ came out June 2005. Its only competition at the time? Unreal Championship 2 for Xbox live. But there are other games out there as well that are gems like GunZ is. All APS-A (alternate person shooter-action)type games of course. So thats JediKnights 2: Outcast and Alien Vs Predator Online off the top of my head. JediKnights has the MOST GunZ like feel to it. Its pretty much GunZ in the future. Not free but at the time, it was worth it. GunZ hasn't done anything TRULY revolutionary besides being the first "MMO" "RPG" APS-A game |

![]() | Bad Graphic? If you want better graphic(like lineage2) without polygons look, gunz can't be playable with kstyling. The graphic wise is simple, cause they didn't add colourfull stuff in it, IMO graphic is OK AS IT IS. They could upgrade/improve GUI better. On other's I do agree strongly, cmon 1 and half year can't find a company that would buy the fcking game? Guntrix think we're stupid? I know a game that has at least 2k players a day can find money, even the private server (lineage2 10k a month at least ppl? thats fcking alot, since the game doesn't even need high maintenance and nowadays server are so cheap) does.
