Error in connection (FTP & torrent issues)

Hi,
I downloaded Gunz via fileplanet with the filename of gunzinternational_20060412f.exe (136mb) installed that.

I'm having problems with the launcher, it simply hangs

Monitoring the data traffic when the launcher loads its interesting in that GunZ makes an FTP connection to 218.145.160.135, logs in (by the way... using a "root" password is NOT a good idea!!) but when trying to do a PWD it bounces back the error
425 Can't open data connection.

Other things that happen is that the file
/launcher/start.html?lver=1016&cver=100315
is downloaded, this works fine but is not displayed in the launcher screen (possibly as the launcher is waiting for the ftp connnection to return)
The launcher stops "hanging" and returns the error "invalid torrent file" after 2 minutes

My set up is a Windows machine with an internal IP of 10.xxxx connected to the net via a linux server running shorewall (firewall) .... all outgoing connections from the windows machine are allowed, but restricted incoming ports allowed. I use the server to download torrents

Ideas?

Tried with both
IGunZ-041306-setup.exe (132mb)
and
GunzInternational_20060413.exe

Its the ftp connection thats the sticking point... can someone else try a connection to this IP address and see if you get the same thing

Could someone run a connection to that ftp server that GunZ Launcher wants to make a connection to...... see if its my side
