Well Gunz does have a mixture of technology and magic. Not only that, if it was based in "gladiator Knights" era, then would they have rockets? pistols? revolvers? shotguns? Hell, would they have kodachis? Trenchcoats?

Sunglasses would fit nicely in this game, and it has been done before.
