Gunz was so much better back then, when K-style first started. What happened now? Why can't I just enjoy this game? Too many egos? Why?

Well, back then, I didn't really try to talk to people. I just played. It was fun because there was new things to try and a lot of people aspiring to be better. From that level, people were stupid to have an ego.

Today, I make more of an effort to talk to people. The strategy is to mellow them out before they become your enemy. If they really are so much of a jerk, they'll insult you and leave. Gunz, with the right people to play with, is pretty fun.

People who could k-style (which at that time only consisted of slash-shot and butterfly) used to be regarded as "insane koreans." But now, unfortunately, k-style seems to be used to distinguish a noob from being average. If you can't k-style, you're automatically labeled a noob, and if you can, it means you know the basics of gunz. The "pros" are now labeled as people who can do all that fancy, useless, crap (like wind-step and sky-step, whatever they mean). To me, the gunz back then seemed to have a noob to pro ratio of like 10:1 (in expert channels believe it or not). But nowadays it seems like EVERYONE knows k-style in expert channels and even in veteran channels, the noob-pro ratio's like 4:1. In conclusion, gunz sucks more now because k-style, which used to be regarded as impossible back then, is now too common of a technique. I miss the old sprayer-happy days of gunz.

Btw, I started playing igunz when there were still only 2 servers. That was like 2005 or something. -_-
