| Gunzfactorian | I was thinking about the game in a sort of RPG-story perspective. What it means to kill people. At higher levels, you die to someone too far less of a level than you, and your experience is taken away. No, it isn't necessarily given to them, but it could be seen as such. So then I thought, what else could you take from them? Its a borrowed idea from many games. Wagering. A bet could be made for One on Ones, or even team games (winning distributed evenly amonst the victors). I think and agreed deal, perhaps in the Game Room, would be better than an automatic system like it is with exp, but it could work both ways. Notice I said winnings. Bounty is an obvious option, but how about ijji coins? Weapons? Now, I'm constantly arguing with myself when I get a good idea. Here are the conflicts I've come up with. What if someone buys ten ijji coins and is good enough to never pay for more again? To make sure ijji still gets paid, wagering coins would require that you've ponied up enough for 200 already. What if someone leaves in the middle of a wager match? The person who left will forfeit what they wagered. This is to prevent people from leaving when they think they might lose. Swapping came to mind, but values could be placed for exchanged items, so that it would be the same as if people got things the same way (ie, prem weapons could only be wagered with other prem weapons or coins). Higher punishment could be dealted to wager-swappers. This may not be a new idea, and please let me know if you've seen this posted before. I think it could bring a new form of competition to the game, and make fights have more consequence, and thus more meaning. Before anyone comes in and says "ommfgah maiet skucs an won chang nethin!11 lolnoob, gg", I know d@mn well this won't be implemented. Just trying to bring people a new idea. | Member | Interesting idea, but I doubt it will be implemented any time soon. Doing that would probably require changing the entire program. The project would be too complicated and costly and (almost definitely) not something those lazy MAIET people would do. ![]() |

![]() | They could just make it so that the players wagering have to actually have what they're wagering.. if I understand you correctly, you dont want ijji losing money if someone buys only 10 coins. But, if they beat someone and win another 10 coins off them, the person whom they beat has to have bought the coins. And so they will have to buy more to replace what they lost. Also, only similar items could be wagered. The wager wouldk justhave to be agreed upon before the match |
