De-Evolution of the game?

Salam aleikum. A few weeks ago I was having a discussion with a clan member of mine who had chosen to leave gunz entirely, not because of the game itself, but as he put it ''This game isn't even a competition anymore because of high pings and trainers, its more about luck than how many hours you put into the game and how good you are''. Don't get the guy wrong guys, he's a hard fightin' hard killin' mongaloid and he's pretty decent at leadshotting but he feels that no matter how good somebody is there will always be at least two 'Johnny Jajajas' for every 'Percy Promang' and that the game is broken because of that.
I don't know as much about computers as I do about gunz but i'm relatively sure that the ping problems in gunz occur because players have to connect to one another rather than the server directory. Trainers are another matter entirely and every online game has to put up with them so i'm not too concerned over the 'threat' hackers pose.
Anyways my real point is that the nub doctors are beating pros because of ping alone, its not that big a deal really but it sucks that the 13 year old boys at MAIET and Ijji can't do anything about it.
So does anyone else feel the same way?

i completely agree with your sig, what even annoys me more is all the games that say EU only

Create Usa/can games then....I'm Eu and i very rarely(never?) step on those.

That together with unlimited votes would improve a lot on the current situation. They should be implementing the new voting system.....

phantasmic why do you think i decided to become a swordsman? i dont like guns its mostly about luck, swords are skill/knoledge no exceptions.

Lal, just to clarify i'm european and from england in fact, so i can usualy play just fine with east coasters and the rest of europe. I'm not biased against any country at all aside form maybe Germany ^_~.
Also, like Bolten, i find myself playing more sword games nowadays but thats not the point because i really shouldn't have to. It just feels depressing playing bad players and losing; no excuses though, if i could leadshot better that wouldn't happen but again i really shouldn't have to.

Ping to Europe is horrendous, no matter how close you think you are.

It's more about having to lead for people that live in your area.

Ghost lag is killing GunZ.

Leading for 30-40 ping is a joke, we shouldn't have to do it.

Leading for 70-90 ping is luck.
