Locust Plague Guide

This is for all of the newcomers to the gunz world... A guide which i hope doesnt have to be used but just in case that day ever happens again... i want everybody to be ready!

The LOCUST PLAGUE was a virus that hit gunz sometime late last year which deleted most characters in all the servers

but... some found ways around the plague itself and i am going to post those ways in the guide

Ways to avoid deletion from the locust plague:

1. probably the easiet way simply do not play gunz PERIOD.

2. if you can't stay away from gunz While you are in a game if a message appears saying "There is no clan master" immediatly hit ALT+F4 which will shutdown gunz and at the same time save your character from deletion.

3. I havent done this myself but if you are the clan master of a clan you should be safe from the locust plague as well (I donno how it works -_-)

These are the only 3 ways i CURRENTLY KNOW of how to avoid the locust plague and i will edit my post when i find more methods

unfortunately i fell victim to the locust plague because i didn't know about it before it was too late i lost a lv 36 which was my only character at the time to the plague...

i posted this guide because of the increase in hacker activity lately and it has me worried another locust plague is in the works ...

Well the Locust Plague wasn't exactly a virus... just a bunch of script kiddies that got ahold of the hack.
I think that if you were in a clan, you would just get kicked out of your clan and not deleted. Neways if there would be a locust plague released again then it may act differently from before

We all will remeber our first character deleted by locust play... u can cry on my shoulder... T_T... thnxs for the guide will be useful for first time players

yes ty.

i am well aware that locust plague will act differently than before but it will more than likely have the same objective as it did before

the servers also have had increases in the amount of players in them so that mean brand new players that have never been introduced to something such as the plague.

Yep this might be usefull for the new comers, maybe u can straigten up the facts about the plague, but pretty good guide incase, but im not expecting anything, pretty sure, altouhg u never noe

well i find that odd stri because when i made my 2nds char after 1st got deleted :'( i did that and it actually worked because if you logoff gunz or go to the char selection screen after being in a server your deleted in most cases.

i guess if plague happens again ill try it on low lv char lol -_-

btw this is my first guide lol i think i did a pretty good job

i find that odd too, i did it. its not difficult to press alt+f4 as soon as message appears.

I thought the locust plague was when there was hackers on every game in Gunz.....but this explains it all

>I was a victime of it, you get kicked and get char. deleted, IF you go to character selection and hacker was still on your account.

I don't like this at all...
I was pissed off last time...
but I was onlt a level 16 noob whe ni got deleted the first time...
If I lose my level 43 I'm gonna be super pissed...
I'm NOT using my main until we find out exactly WTF is going on.
