well you could start by putting the name of the IGN that was first created to the last...so that'd be like 3,000 IGN's. That's priceless history ^^

If you do create a 'history of gunz' document, we'd love to publish it on the main site. Once you get some decent progress, we'll sticky a new thread that you can make in the bounty stockpile.

Current Progress:

Timeline Draft covering June ('05) to April (Current). Timeline covers iGunz progress through beta (with as much information as i can get) along with contributor data.
12 personal stories from people who've been playing from very early on (comprised of what was going on from their perspective, why, what, etc)
4 personal interviews (also describing what was going on from individual player perspective)

As you might've noticed I put a lot of emphasis on players' experience because that is the most important thing that make the community evolve along with the game. So the history will be as much personal as universal. The more people that contribute, the more we'll get an idea of what different people were going through.

I hope to make this public as soon as i've organised all the data and finished some interviews i have lined up. Thanks to those who've already contributed

I've decided that the estimated release date will be the first year anniversary of iGunz. That way the history doesn't just end on some random date that i finish

I originally announced that i was working on the history in the official forums. The thread was in the Replay section because during those days that's where most of the forum activity was. Of course i included a misc replay to justify the thread being there.

By the way, my latest thanks goes to Blah for the recent interview i had with him. He's been playing since day one so he's had a plethora of good information. +rep to Blah
