the hackers are taking over the sever do some thing about it plz its like the xtrap is not even there to the.. all the hacks back again and its worse then befor... plz do some thing atlest

I hope this does not become the night when the locust plague was realeased and the gunz online forum was hacked, which I was up till 2 in the morning and survived it. Just for a precaution change your password, www.gunzonline.com if you don't want to create a new account, thats what i did for the past 2 days.

Seriously, go into free channel 1 on server 2 right now. Nothing but game names just promoting hack sites. It's seriously awful. I'm sick to death of it, whilst I'm sure everyone is. I'm just about ready to go kill all the sources. And I mean KILL not just bash or anything. It's frustrating big time to see some wankers ruining the game cause they sucked at it.

Server 2 is totally over run. Server 1 I suspect is the same. Really need something better :s

I got bunch of screenshots of them, and i was thinking of postin them on here after i censor all of the links. I guess I should not, no ones gonna notice. Seriously im getting pissed off about it, literaly. People say fake admins were spamming there at server 1, + with the disconects. As i said I just hope its not like *you know*

Well, this is not new of course, but i think most people got cheered by the little anti game-hack protection system, they all thought the end of the hacker era was over, and, eventually, they realized this was nothing but a big lie.

Xtrap is not by far the solution, i don't think there's an unflawed solution to stop hackers.

Anyway, I wonder how much the xtrap charges MAIET to have their solution on the game. What about stop using xtrap and start using punkbuster/gameguard?, at least those systems function in different and more advanced ways, they also get updated frecuently.

This is not happening anyway. I don't want to criticize MAIET, as i think they did an awesome job with gunz... but they just got it wrong with xtrap, they got fooled like most of the gunz players. Xtrap doesn't even have a Memory Protection system for Processes/Threads checking the integrity of those, it doesn't even check if there's DLL's around the Gunz\ directory to hijack the original ones (I.e. Win32 API DLL's like ws2_32.dll), it's just so easy to bypass it that it's unbelievable.

Cheers up to Xtrap Team anyway, maybe they can provide more advanced solutions for their product.
