It's Time To Play 'NAME THAT MOVE'

Alright guys, I'm sure most of you are not aware of the existance of this move yet, as you probably don't lurk the 'Style Discussion' section of this forum as much as I do.

Please read:
Extended Lunge/Super Lunge

To break it down if you don't feel like reading, it's pretty much dashing and lunging at the exact same time, and it sends you more or less 3x the distance of a normal lunge.

It goes further, is COMPLETELY silent, and when you link them, it's THE fastest way to get around a map. Other things to note are when you do it backwards/sideways they do different things. Backwards makes you lunge forward only half the distance of a normal lunge, and then sends you shooting backwards, and sideways sends you on a sort of circular pattern.

So, why am I posting this here?

Because I'm setting up a poll for naming this move. Currently we're split up over either Extended Lunge, or Super Lunge.

I personally call it super lunge, just because it's cooler. durr.

Please vote, and if you don't like either of the names, select OTHER and state what YOU would name it.

i can do it, just not constantly yet...

i was thinking of 3 different names since there's different effects of this lunge depending on the direction of the dash...

if i have to choose one name then it would be slide lunge

if i can have diff name for directions then..
-forward= D-lunge (short for distance lunge) [it can also be dash-lunge]
-backward= Y-Lunge (short for yo-yo lunge)
-left/right=W-lunge (wierd lunge, because left/right is hardest for me to do and it just look wierdest)

I do it the cheap way... if you read through the thread you'll find a few people posted an easier way of doing it... but you can only do it in one direction until you go into options and change it.

I don't like your name for back lunges, because it kinda gives the implication that yoyo (another dagger move) is involved.

But yeah, slide lunge sounds kinda cool.

Extended lunge is the name the creator of the move gave it, but he's still on the fence so I made this thread

i like this move

i do it all the time to freak people out and catch them by surprise, i go with super lunge because of the insane distence you can go when doing it forwards.
