| Gunzfactorian | im kind of new to the game, but managed to get myself up to level ten within three days, dunno if this is good or bad, but thats what happened. anyways, i dont know what items i should buy, i have a good amount of money now, and i have yet to purchase anything, just have my duel SMGs that i started iwth. i was thinking of buying a shotgun or the kadachis (or both) along with some armor, but my budget is limeted and i dont really know how strong some of these items are. the shotgun in question (second one) has a smaller damage number than my current weapons, i think the kadachis are the same. should i buy either of these weapons? i dont really know much about teh styles that people keep yammering about, but i like to shoot more than stab, but both are fun in their own way. any suggestions? |

| Gunzfactorian Guardian | I cannot exactly give you advice because you've played the game longer then I have, although I'm at level 8 and I was told to wait for level 10 and it seems you've done the right thing. As for being, 'good or not'. Who honestly cares, play games at your own pace and enjoy yourself; that is the main thing. It's not about being better then others, etc, although most do have that attitude. Back on topic, I was told to wait till level 10 before buying equipment as you'd waste bountypoints otherwise. So spend thirty minutes looking at what is the best equipment for your level/style and induldge. |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Unless you're good, shotgun isn't a very good buy. You'll have to know how to get close to people and blasting their face. Lv 10 rifle is good if you have good aim. Lv 9 dagger or lv 10 sword are good weapons to have. Kodachis are good if you like to combo people, but not much else. Unless you know quickslash. For beginners, getting to lv 10 in three days is nice. |

Log out of of the current server you're on, and choose one of the Quest servers on the right. You'll see them. Easiest way is to choose a room for your level, create a game and change it to "quest". Within no time at all 3 people would of joined and you can start. Quite easy, good to make bp's and xp.

| Gunzfactorian Hero | Maybe he's playing International Gunz? He is yet to specify. =P If your playing International there is no quest mode. Personally i do not enjoy Quest mode, though there is them days when you want to shoot a goblin down. Anyway... International is better, nicer people. =P Play International and have fun. ^_^ Or if your on Ijji.. Quest mode.. You should see it. O_o, |

Although soon we'll both have to start doing what the others do if we want to survive.

Kodachis are good if you learn how to use them properly. It seems the common idea is kodachis are just swords with lower delay. Not so. They have a different style that you have to get used to. If you don't want to learn how to use them properly then you are better of with a sword, I agree. That is actually be best argument against them.. not the damage they do. After ten levels of using a sword you will be relearning how to sword fight if you use kodachis. ![]()
