Reppa89 has chosen the cocky path.

Default New Rocket Animation

Is anyone liking the new rocket animation? I say rockets do a ton of dmg already so why make it even harder too see it. Rockets are suppose to be shot out with great speed due to the weight of it. So why make it almost invisible to see something that does so much dmg.

But it's great when you use it though cause the enemy can't see it.

Splash damage with rockets is very low. Rockets in general are a bad idea to use since they were so easy to dodge.

you forgot to add, are used in attack and defense games by cowards who cant aim fo **** and like to spam rockets in hopes of randomly hitting someone they would otherwise get owned by..

Lol, Cowards? Yeah, because everyone knows if you don't fight against someone in a /bow sword battle in GunZ it's because you have a deep, agonizing fear against them in real life. I'm willing to bet a thousand pesos you're one of those kids in GunZ that screams, "OMG *insertweaponhere* NOOB!" whenever you die to anything but a sword then zips to the closest bookmarked GunZ board to cry about it. Get over it.

Rockets are great if you know how to properly predict where your opponent is going to go before you fire so your rocket meets them like a cupid arrow of pain. I always have a rocket launcher at hand in deathmatches for killing crowds of butterfliers, flushing out campers, and turtlers. I've always had a hard understanding of why rockets have such a horrible reputation in GunZ when nearly every other FPS/shooter game they're hailed as the expert weapon next to Sniper rifles.

rockets...expert weapon? ROFL, maybe in some games but rockets are a nub weapon in halo/2

Your "Effect" is on Low. Put it back to High and you see the smoke again.

K-stylers are countered by rockets and(well placed) nades.

K-stylers get owned in narrow hall ways by dagger ss/rockets and grenades that are placed on the floor or thrown off walls.

Rockets can't be blocked and even the splash over time will kill them(replenish ammo and repeat this until dead). Playing runaway with this style makes bf pointless.I mean if they rush you too much they will get naded or massived then shot with a rocket point blank then shot by the revolver=auto-death.If your ap is high the splash will be manageable.If they camp you can throw a nade agianst a wall then wait for them to jump then rocket/Massive/shotgun/revolver them.

Are we playing Halo or Halo 2? I do believe the game we are playing is called Gunz: The Duel. Besides, in Halo, 1-2 rockets = death, while here, a good amount more is needed to kill someone. So trying to find a similarity between Halo's rockets and Gunz's rockets is a little dumb wouldn't you agree?

Set your effect to Medium or High.

Rockets are great if used like you described. However, in attack def games, they are used by cowards who will hide and pop out to randomly shoot a wall in the hopes of hitting someone. I consider rockets to be only second to shotgunz and maybe revolvers. But if your telling me that more than half the people who use rockets can use them effectively, then you're mistaken. Out of ever 10 rocket user i see playing an attack/def game, maybe 1 actually uses them well. The rest just shoot at walls and random places, where they can never hope to score even splash damage let alone direct hits.

lol and you think im some sort of sword obessed bfer? heh, if i was one of those idiots who runs around bfing everywhere and thinks that i own just cause i know kstyle, then you would be right. Because these people should and do get owned by rockets very easily.

Oh, my qualm also has to do with the explosions lagging my frame rate as well, but thats more an individual conflict i guess.
