| Gunzfactorian | See, IF Ijji was Rich enogh they could create there own type of security company, but of course that takes time and money(2 reasons it will never happen) 1. Ijji is Lazy 2. even the $$ from premiums are forwarded toward Hookers |

someone from Holland or something said their whole country only has one ISP provided by the government. that would be cool, blocking a whole country? | |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | http://eng.nprotect.com/nprotect_gameguard.htm Ok, you see where it says : * Malicious code diagnosis and blocking * Blocks Auto-mouse and Macro program * Blocks access and manipulation attempts to the game client * Self protection of security module * Detects Speed hack * Optimized CPU occupancy rate This would be great for an MMORPG like MapleStory, because it's a player-to-server, player-to-server games are always better, because the hit counter system WORKS. You just have to get used to it, you see where it says detects speed hack, let me explain a bit about speed hacking. Speed hacking is just where you basically "teleport" the thing that's hard to detect about is that most of the speed hacks REPEAT a variable, meaning it's just like an infinite dash, and not to mention all the bugs that MAIET kept in to keep k-style alive, this is possible, and easy to bypass the hacking system. Now, malicious code and such, MAIET needs to program most of this code that they want to block, but the thing is, the REAL hackers use the .dll of the GunZ launcher to launch this, which means that it TRICKS the protection agent(gameguard) into thinking it's just GunZ being executed. You can't just say gameguard fails because GunZ would be a very hard game to keep hackers away, due to so many glitches and bugs that they keep in, people(the hackers) utilize this and bypass the protection agent easily. The best thing to do like I've said a million times before, is bring down the ban hammer continously, until they stop most of the hacking. They'll eventually stop after so many tries. It's so easy a script kiddie can do it. That's just my two cents, so quit bltching about how this and that is better, because it's not only the agent, it's GunZ aswell. |
